“Moving into Warner Bros. Games was a major step up in both brand quality and product sophistication. I wanted exposure to scaled consumer products with meaningful user engagement data, live operations, and monetisation complexity. Gaming product management is demanding because success is measurable in real time — retention, engagement, conversion, and content cadence all immediately show whether decisions are working. The role provided strong exposure to cross-functional development teams and taught me how to operate in environments where creative, technical, and commercial priorities often conflict. One of the more useful lessons was understanding how to influence teams without formal authority, particularly when working with engineering and design groups that had deeply held product opinions. The pace could be intense and priorities shifted frequently around launches and live-service performance. There was also less autonomy than startup environments because of the number of stakeholders involved, but the trade-off was significantly stronger product training and exposure to scaled user ecosystems. Supported live game operations, feature optimisation, player engagement initiatives, and roadmap coordination across mobile gaming titles. Worked closely with analytics, design, and engineering teams to improve retention and monetisation performance in highly competitive free-to-play environments.”Browse people →
