State Street Markets is seeking a Market Risk Analyst to support Securities Financing activities, including Prime Brokerage and Securities Lending. The role is responsible for real-time portfolio risk oversight, margin governance, collateral adequacy, and risk-based decision making across hedge fund, broker, and agency lending client exposures. The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in analyzing hedge fund portfolios across a range of investment strategies, including Equity Long/Short, Credit, and Convertible Arbitrage. This position requires sound judgment, the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment, and confidence making risk decisions under pressure.

What you will be responsible for

As Front Office Market Risk Analyst, Assistant Vice President you will:

• Perform intraday and end-of-day risk monitoring of hedge fund and financing portfolios.

• Assess collateral sufficiency and margin adequacy for Prime Brokerage and Securities Lending exposures.

• Analyze portfolio risks, including leverage, liquidity, concentration, and financing exposures.

• Review and challenge margin methodologies, evaluating sensitivity to volatility, liquidity, and concentration risks.
