As Akur8 continues to grow, we are looking for a Sales Intern to support our Sales team in identifying relevant prospects, creating new conversations with insurance professionals, and improving the way the team works.

You will join an international Sales team focused on growing Akur8’s client base through new business, account development, and long-term relationships. You will work closely with Sales Directors, Sales Executives Marketing, Sales Operations, and our Actuarial experts. This internship will give you practical experience in B2B SaaS sales, prospecting, and the insurance technology market. You will also have the opportunity to explore how AI tools and simple agents can improve day-to-day sales processes.

Your mission will include, but not be limited to, the following:

PROSPECT RESEARCH

• Identify insurance companies, reinsurers, brokers, and other relevant organisations that may benefit from Akur8’s solutions.

• Research target accounts, their business priorities, and the people involved in pricing, reserving, actuarial, data, and innovation projects.

• Build and maintain clear account lists to support focused outreach.

LEAD QUALIFICATION AND HANDOFF

• Engage with internal stakeholders to help with current processes, challenges, priorities, and potential timelines.

• Schedule meetings for Account Executives and prepare clear notes so that each conversation starts with useful context.

SALES AND MARKETING COLLABORATION

• Work with Marketing on campaigns, webinars, events, and content aimed at insurance professionals, to help improve messaging and campaign targeting.

• Support the Sales team with account mapping, event preparation, and follow-up activities.

• Support the preparation of client-facing slides and materials, review documents created by the team, and adapt content to address specific client needs.

CRM AND REPORTING

• Keep prospect and activity information accurate in the CRM.

• Track outreach, responses, meetings, and follow-up actions.

• Prepare activity reports and contribute ideas to improve the team’s day-to-day sales process.

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT AND AI

• Identify repetitive tasks in prospecting, CRM updates, reporting, and follow-up, then suggest practical ways to improve them.

• Explore and help build AI-powered workflows or agents that support the Sales team, with appropriate guidance and review.

• Document what works and help turn useful experiments into repeatable processes.

You will be based in Paris and will work primarily from our office. Occasional travels may be required for team meetings, events, or conferences.

We are looking for someone who is curious about business and technology, comfortable speaking with new people, and ready to learn through practice. You should also be interested in how AI can improve everyday work and curious about building simple agents or automations with the support of the team.

EDUCATIONAL / PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• You are currently enrolled in a Business School, university, or equivalent programme and are looking for a full-time 6-month internship.

• You are interested in B2B sales, technology, insurance, or a role that combines business conversations with analytical thinking.

• You communicate clearly in writing and in conversation, and you are comfortable adapting your message to different audiences.

• You are organised, persistent, and able to manage several follow-up tasks without losing track of details.

• You take initiative, ask thoughtful questions, and respond well to feedback.

• You enjoy working with colleagues from different countries and functions.

• We have two open positions: for one you should have strong spoken and written English & French. For the other one only English applies. Additional language is a bonus.

BONUS SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• A first experience in sales, business development, customer service, or another role involving outreach.

• Familiarity with a CRM, sales engagement platform, LinkedIn, or other tools used to research and contact prospects.

• A genuine interest in AI tools and in building simple agents or automations to improve business processes.

• Previous experience in an international company, student association, start-up, or technology environment.

• Prior experience in the financial sector (banking, insurance) and in the way data can support better business decisions.

As a newcomer, you'll be joining a diverse, highly skilled and motivated team, with a strong Tech DNA, colleagues that are eager to share their knowledge and passion.

We care about strong teamwork and a positive day-to-day environment. The team regularly connects through optional activities such as team lunches, sports, karaoke, or occasional after-work gatherings.

In addition to this, we will provide you with:

• Monthly compensation

• Top-notch laptops & equipments

• Lunch vouchers
