About the Role

As an AI Engineering Lead, you will lead the design, development, and operation of AI-enabled software systems supporting our reinsurance business. You will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and help establish engineering standards while remaining actively involved in architecture and delivery decisions.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and engineers to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.

What You Will Do

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous learning
• Provide technical leadership across AI-enabled software solutions and platforms
• Drive implementation decisions for scalable, production-grade systems
• Oversee the development of services, integrations, APIs, and workflows supporting AI and agentic applications
• Ensure solutions deliver measurable business value and can be operated effectively at scale
• Guide teams in applying AI technologies pragmatically and responsibly
• Establish engineering standards for testing, deployment, monitoring, quality assurance, and operational excellence
• Support teams in building evaluation frameworks and quality controls for AI-powered systems
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to prioritize and deliver impactful solutions
• Help grow engineering capabilities, knowledge-sharing, and best practices within the team
