Your Team
The Chief Technical Office (CTO) is responsible for working with technical functions including Pricing, Product Management, Underwriting Integrity, Reinsurance, Portfolio and Accumulation Steering including Catastrophe Management, and Risk Consulting to ensure we are building Technical Excellence across our North America region, and in alignment with the overall global approach.
The Impact You Will Have
The Senior Product Development Business Partner - Liability provides product and forms support for Liability insurance products across North America. Reporting directly to the Regional Head of Product Development – North America, this role partners closely with Product Development, Underwriting, Compliance, Legal, Governance, Operations, and other key stakeholders to support the development, maintenance, and implementation of Liability products. The Business Partner serves as a key product resource for forms, product documentation, implementation, and coordination of regulatory-related matters. Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
-
Drafting, revising, and maintaining Liability forms, endorsements, and related product documentation.
-
Supporting the development and maintenance of state- and province-specific forms based on guidance provided by Compliance, Legal, Governance, and other appropriate stakeholders.
-
Reviewing forms for consistency with approved product structures, drafting standards, functional rules, and established Liability product requirements.
-
Supporting Product Development in maintaining consistency across Liability forms, templates, terminology, and drafting conventions.
-
Advising Product Development and Underwriting regarding appropriate form selection, usage, and implementation.
-
Supporting product conforming activities when base forms or broader product structures are updated.
-
Partnering with Compliance to understand regulatory developments and requirements that may impact Liability products or forms.
-
Coordinating with Compliance when Product Development needs clarification regarding state-specific requirements or regulatory considerations.
-
Translating Compliance guidance into appropriate product and form changes in partnership with Product Development leadership.
