📍 Manchester (Hybrid) | 💰 £70,000 - £90,000

Street Group is one of the fastest-growing PropTech companies in the UK. We want to be the leading creator of delightful experiences for everybody involved in buying, selling, renting and letting property, and we're doing that by giving UK estate agencies world-class technology.

Our Product team is at the heart of that mission. We find the most valuable problems to solve, ship quality solutions, and measure the impact along the way. As we grow, we're bringing in a Product Lead to own a significant product area and help raise the standard of product across the team. You'll have real ownership, a team that collaborates well, and the freedom to make decisions, not just ship someone else's roadmap.

What you'll be doing

In this high-impact role, you will oversee a core domain that spans multiple product lines. You will drive strategy across critical functional areas, while directly managing and developing a team of Product Managers.

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for your product area, with autonomy from day one to deliver commercial success.

• Line-manage and develop Product Managers in the team: 1:1s, coaching, and helping people grow.

• Set the standard for discovery, prioritisation, and stakeholder communication across the product function.

A bit about you

• Have owned an (ideally B2B) software product end to end, and are able to evidence measurable outcomes (revenue, retention, adoption or conversion).

• Experience managing and mentoring other PMs. You know what good looks like and you help others get there.

• Confidence working without a lot of direction. You can set your own course and bring people with you.

• Are customer obsessed, love spending time with customers and have run discovery directly with them, working alongside a product designer or UX researcher.

• Strong communication skills - you can explain what you built, why you built it, and what it achieved.

• A drive to improve not just your product area, but how the whole team operates.

You should apply for this role if...

• You want a real domain to own, not a feature set.

• You want to keep building product while growing people.

• You like a blank page. It is a new role, so you define what the Product Lead role looks like here and set the standard for discovery, prioritisation and stakeholder communication.

• You work better without close direction. You will have autonomy from day one and are expected to set your own course.

• You have already made AI part of how you work - or are experimenting with it in your personal life. Day-to-day and strategically, AI usage at Street Group is an expectation.

You should not apply for this role if...

• You are used to working within strict guidelines and are not used to autonomy.

• You want to be solely hands on or off, as this roles requires both at various points.

• You have not managed, mentored, or coached PMs before.

Why Street Group
Product actually matters here. You'll have real ownership, a team that collaborates well, and the freedom to make decisions, not just ship someone else's roadmap.

🌍 Feel good about sustainability. We're a climate-positive company!

Salary
£70,000 - £90,000 dependent on experience. However, sometimes the perfect person is far more or less experienced than we anticipated. In these situations, planned ranges go out the window. If you think that might be the case, please apply and just let us know.

We care deeply about helping the tech industry become a more inclusive and diverse place and we work hard to lead by example. We are committed to Equal Employment Opportunity through attracting and retaining a complementary team of employees and building an inclusive environment for all. Interview Process

3 stages = An introductory call with one of our Talent team > Skills-based interview > Final values-based interview.

We want to make our interviews as inclusive as possible, so if you need any adjustments made, or if there's anything you think we should be aware of during the interview process, please do let us know.

A note on using AI in your job application

As a fast-moving and rapidly evolving tech company, we embrace the advantages of AI and encourage its use throughout our application process. However, our goal is to get to know and hire the authentic you. Your skills, experience, and values. We don’t want to hire an AI-generated version of you. We consider AI to be a valuable tool, not something that should overshadow you as an individual.

How we use AI in the hiring process

Candidate experience is really important to us, and our Talent team use AI notetakers on interviews so that they can focus purely on their conversation with you. All decisions are made by humans, not AI. Let us know if you have any questions!
