Finance Operations Specialist

At applike group, finance is not just about accounting - it’s about ensuring that millions in revenue flow smoothly, accurately, and on time across our global operations.

We’re looking for a Finance Operations Specialist who takes ownership of daily financial operations, ensures data integrity across systems, and actively improves processes through automation.

This is not a traditional accounting role - bookkeeping is handled externally. Instead, you’ll be at the core of how financial data moves through our systems.

The applike group is committed to creating engaging experiences for every app user around the world. We are passionate about creating market-changing products, technologies, and companies. We have already founded 4 companies. Our ventures are independent business units that benefit from each other’s technologies, expertise, and market access to become even more successful: adjoe is developing a breakthrough mobile advertising solution that enables app publishers around the world to grow their advertising revenues. justDice is the market leader in Mobile Gaming Loyalty Programs. Sunday is a next-generation hybrid casual mobile game publisher. And justtrack offers a unique software to automate the entire mobile user acquisition process. Yet more to come.

Under the umbrella of the media company Bertelsmann, we have access to a global network of experts and strong financial support. By developing a state-of-the-art tech stack and highly skilled workforce, we aim to reach more mobile users than any other company in the world. If you want to grow your career in tech, challenge yourself in a high-performance environment, while having fun with great colleagues from all over the world, you've come to the right place!

Find the whole world in one office. Boost your career with awesome people!

What you will do:

• Own billing and invoicing across multiple business units from start to finish.

• Reconcile complex data between internal dashboards and SAP to ensure 100% data integrity. Manage the finance inbox and act as the primary contact for partner requests.

• Ensure accurate payment flows and maintain high-level data consistency across systems.

• Identify and drive automation opportunities to move away from manual work.

Who you are:

• 2–4 years in Finance Operations / Accounting

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP is a plus)

• Strong attention to detail & process mindset

• Interest in systems, data flows & automation

• Open mindset with a focus on change and process improvements

• Fluent in German & English

Why this role is different:

• Work with automated financial systems and dashboards, not just entries

• Focus on data integrity and process ownership, not bookkeeping

• Act as a bridge between finance and tech

• Focus on operational execution rather than purely strategic or controlling tasks

• Move away from manual accounting and "pure" bookkeeping
