About the role
We are looking for a highly systematic Head of Product to own monetisation and retention for one of our core D2C subscription products. You will work on a single product and be fully responsible for growing its ARPU, retention, and subscription lifetime value - owning the product roadmap and working directly with the Managing Director, engineering, and data.
You will own the full product lifecycle, from roadmap through to delivery, working hand-in-hand with engineering, UI design, data, and marketing - with AI tooling as a core part of your workflow. The bar is high and so is the upside - performance here is directly and significantly rewarded, and strong operators take on bigger scope fast.
Key Responsibilities
-
Product Roadmap & Strategy: Define and own the product roadmap, translating business objectives, user insights, and competitor analysis into a clear, prioritised build plan.
-
Monetisation & ARPU Growth: Own product ARPU (D7/D30) with a target of 15% quarterly improvement. Drive pricing and packaging strategy through structured experiments, and identify untapped monetisation opportunities prioritised by revenue impact.
-
Retention & Engagement: Own retention targets and reduce churn. Build engagement loops that increase product usage and subscription lifetime, acting on drop-off and friction points surfaced in cohort analysis.
-
Developer & Engineering Collaboration: Partner directly and daily with the engineering team. Write clear, technically rigorous product requirements and specifications. Participate in sprint planning, architecture discussions, and technical trade-off decisions.
-
Research & Data-Driven Decisions: Conduct continuous discovery with target users. Define product metrics, instrument analytics, and turn qualitative and quantitative insights into well-scoped decisions and structured experiments.
-
UI/UX Ownership: Own the product experience across all core modules, making critical UI/UX decisions and ensuring a cohesive, intuitive, high-converting end-to-end journey.
