Our Mission

Private markets shape which companies get built and how innovation scales - yet origination still runs on manual workflows and fragmented tools. Raylu is the AI origination engine for private markets, so every investor can see more of the market, qualify faster, and move first.

We’re not building generic AI. Raylu is purpose-built for Growth Equity and PE - already powering sourcing for leading funds with:

• Real-time market maps aligned to your thesis

• Standardized, enriched company signals and benchmark

• Deep contextual research on emerging companies

• Automated, fund-voice outreach to founders and execs

About the Role

The GTM Associate is Raylu's on-ramp into enterprise sales, where you learn the craft from inside real deals with leading private-markets funds. This is an outbound-first role: you'll open doors at the funds we most want to work with, then stay close to those deals as they move - sitting in on discovery, contributing to strategy, and learning what it takes to close.

You'll report directly to our Head of Sales and work shoulder to shoulder with our AEs, product, and leadership. Because we're early, you won't just run the outbound motion, you'll help build it: the messaging, the plays, the qualification criteria, and the playbook the next hires learn from.

What You Will Own

• Strategic outbound into named institutional investors: research-led, multi-threaded prospecting across growth equity and private equity funds with messaging sharp enough for a Managing Director's inbox

• Your number: own a qualified-meeting and pipeline target across email, LinkedIn, and warm intros and consistently beat it

• Campaigns that convert: design targeted outbound plays by strategy, fund size, thesis, or trigger event; test subject lines, personas, and timing; double down on what works

• Deal strategy: map stakeholders and qualify leads through a proven sales methodology; identify the pain that moves deals forward and hand AEs opportunities that are set up to close

• Product mastery: know Raylu well so you can speak credibly to how a fund would actually use it

• Events: support Raylu's presence at industry conferences, dinners, and roundtables - pre-event outreach, on-the-ground meetings, post-event follow-through

• Clean handoffs: pristine CRM hygiene, sharp discovery notes, and context that travels with the deal

• Tight GTM feedback loop: turn what you hear from partners and MDs into ICP refinement, messaging, and product insight

• Build, don't just execute: codify what works into outbound messaging, qualification criteria, and playbooks - the foundations of Raylu's sales engine

What You Will Need

• 0-3 years of experience; SDR/BDR, client-facing sales, or a finance-adjacent background (banking, PE, consulting, fintech) all work

• Exceptional writing: crisp, specific, research-backed outreach that earns 30 seconds of a Managing Director's attention

• Comfort with high-volume, high-quality outbound - you know the difference between activity and progress

• Ability to learn a complex product fast and explain it simply to a sophisticated audience

• Fluency (or fast fluency) in modern sales tooling: CRM, sequencing, enrichment, and AI-assisted research

• Genuine curiosity about private markets - how investors source, diligence, and win deals - and about AI

• Organized enough to run many senior conversations in parallel without dropping a thread

• Coachable and comfortable moving without perfect information

• Competitive drive, resilience, and clear ambition to earn a quota-carrying seat

Bonus

• Exposure to PE/VC/LPs, investment banking, or capital-markets teams - as a seller, operator, or prior career

• Familiarity with LLMs and how AI is changing research and outreach workflows

• Prior success building outbound campaigns or running event programs from scratch

Who You Are

• Owner's mindset: autonomous, accountable, and relentless about outcomes

• High-velocity: you generate pipeline, keep momentum, and don't wait for permission

• Curious and technical: you learn fast, ask great questions, and simplify complexity

• Ambitious and resilient: you like the hard problems and win through preparation

• A builder: you get energized creating something from scratch and want to shape the team, not just join it

• Kind and collaborative: you elevate the room and make teams better

Why Join Raylu?

• Real traction: selling into leading private-markets funds; clear, referenceable outcomes

• Talent density: small, senior, mission-obsessed team - big scope, zero bureaucracy

• Speed: ship fast with direct lines to product, data, and leadership

• A real path: this role is built to grow into AE, GTM strategy, or RevOps as Raylu scales
