Enterprise Sales Engineer

Our Mission

At Omnea, we’re reinventing how enterprise businesses operate, starting with the most painful parts: procurement – where a single purchase can drag on for months, trigger 50+ emails, and pull in Finance, Legal, Security, and IT just to get something approved.

We’ve raised $75M from Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners, and Accel to change that. Our AI-native platform connects every person, step, and system so buying is fast, safe, and efficient – one place to request, automated approvals and renewals, real-time supplier risk, and complete spend visibility.

The opportunity is massive. Every enterprise on the planet has this problem and nobody has solved it. We’ve 10x’d ARR to double-digit millions in 18 months and are trusted by global enterprises like Spotify, MongoDB, Monzo, and Albertsons. We’re now the 4th fastest growing startup in Europe & the Sunday Times' #1 Best Medium Sized Tech Company To Work for.

Our team previously scaled Tessian (cybersecurity tech, backed by Sequoia, Balderton, Accel**,** acquired post-Series C), and our team includes ex-founders operators who’ve grown unicorns, shipped world-class products, and executed at the highest levels. You’ll work alongside leaders like Ben, Abs, Sabrina, and Rebe.

The Role

Solution Consulting sits at the center of how Omnea wins - deals are complex, cycles are competitive, and multiple stakeholders (finance, procurement, legal, risk) all need to be convinced simultaneously. You are the person who takes a messy, high-stakes, multi-threaded sales process and makes the future state obvious and credible, working strategically with the world's largest logos. You'll be sitting across the table from C-suite executives at companies going through massive transformation projects, at the center of decisions that reshape how they operate.

Solution Consulting is not an established playbook you're stepping into. You're building it. You'll decide how we sell, what our demos look like, how we structure technical validation, and how the function scales as the team grows. You won't be stepping into someone else's playbook. You'll be shaping the entire GTM motion for our most important market.

You'll own & define the technical and business case throughout the sales cycles - from discovery through demo(s), supporting RFPs, and defining the solution approach. That means translating a prospect's current-state, disconnected tools, broken workflows, poor adoption, into a compelling, specific vision of what Omnea makes possible, and building tailored demos across an expanding product surface spanning orchestration, risk, compliance, legal, sourcing, and AP. You'll partner directly with our GTM team to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder multi-country deal - and act as the voice of the market back into product and GTM: what's working, what's not, and what needs to change.

What You'll Do

• Own the technical strategy on our largest, highest-stakes enterprise deals: lead deep discovery across Heads of Procurement, IT, Security, and Finance, and translate what you uncover into a technical narrative compelling enough to justify a strategic investment, not just a tool purchase.

• Multi-thread every stakeholder in the deal, from operational users to economic buyers, and navigate the political dynamics between teams that have never had to agree on a system before.

• Scope, design, and own proof-of-concept projects end to end, combining a prospect's current state and processes within the Omnea platform to validate what that specific buying committee needs to see - not only a demo can run smoothly.

• Present the outcome of a PoV and the roadmap to full implementation directly to executives up to C-level, framing the conversation around measurable ROI rather than a features checklist.

• Build the reusable collateral, solution patterns, and demo frameworks that outlast your own deals: what you create should make every SE who joins after you productive faster than you were.

• Mentor teammates on customer engagement and technical strategy, and help define what a great Solution Consultant at Omnea actually looks like, since the function itself is still being built.

• Work hand in hand with Product: Bring competitive intelligence and prospect insight back from the field, and work with Product to shape what we build and how we position it.

What's Different About This Role

• This is a career-defining chance to help build Omnea's GTM and Solution Consulting function from the ground up in the U.S., at a company that's still writing its playbook rather than handing you one.

• You'll own complex enterprise deals end to end, working directly with AEs and senior customer stakeholders, which means you'll influence not just how individual deals get won but how the entire Solution Consulting function operates as it scales.

• We're a flat, high-bar team where senior hires are expected to be self-directed from day one: you won't be eased in with a slow ramp or a junior support structure, you'll be trusted with real ownership immediately.

• The company is on an incredibly strong growth trajectory with enterprise momentum behind it, which means the scope for you to create visible, immediate impact is significant rather than incremental.

• Expect a genuinely meritocratic culture, one with high standards and direct feedback, where performance is recognized quickly and equity upside reflects the level of ownership and impact you actually have.

About you

Someone who thrives in this role is highly ambitious, genuinely energized by ambiguity and wants to influence how this function works from the ground up. They're also an exceptional individual contributor first: whatever they've been trusted with before, they've delivered on it.

• 5-7+ years in enterprise sales engineering, solutions engineering, or senior technical consulting, ideally in B2B SaaS

• A track record supporting high-contract-value enterprise deals - you know that winning one takes strategic positioning and deep discovery.

• Comfortable working across large organizations with stakeholders at every level

• Experience owning strategic accounts, mentoring others, or shaping solution strategy in a high-growth environment

• An excellent communicator who can explain the same system to a procurement analyst and a CTO, and be credible to both

• Proven as a top-performing individual contributor, with the ambition to go further: helping shape how the Solution Consulting function operates, not just working inside it.

• Able to work from our New York office at least three days per week
