At Hive, we're building the defining physical AI platform of the next decade.

Industrial labor is one of the most acute bottlenecks in the global economy. Operators are expensive, hard to retain, and working in environments that are increasingly unsafe. The shortage is structural. The window to solve it is now.

Our answer is a machine-agnostic intelligence platform that lets any machine, on any site, perceive, decide, and act autonomously. One platform. Any machine. No fleet replacement.

Already live across multiple sites and customers in Europe - spanning logistics and warehousing, industrial manufacturing, and large-scale chemical production - with a US expansion underway.

The vision: one operator managing hundreds of machines simultaneously. Productive machine-hour cost dropping by 80x, and unlocks the next productivity revolution in physical work.

The mission is to make productivity limitless. Come and help us build it.

The Role

As Deployment Manager, you will own the end-to-end delivery of customer deployments in the United States, from delivery kickoff through commissioning, validation, go-live and operational handover.

You will coordinate customers, engineering teams, operators, equipment, logistics, site readiness and technical dependencies into one executable plan. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role with significant time spent at industrial sites.

As one of Hive's first deployment managers in the US, you will also help define how we deploy at scale across the country.

What You Will Do

Own Customer Deployments End-to-End

• Own US customer projects from delivery kickoff through successful operational handover.

• Build and maintain the integrated deployment plan across people, machines, hardware, software, logistics, site readiness, safety and customer dependencies.

• Establish clear milestones, owners, dependencies and acceptance criteria.

• Drive execution and escalate risks before they become delivery problems.

• Ensure deployments are delivered safely, on time and to the expected quality.

Lead Site Readiness and Deployment

• Work directly with customers to prepare sites for deployment and go-live.

• Coordinate infrastructure, connectivity, machines, operating areas, safety requirements and operational procedures.

• Lead on-site deployment activities together with Hive Engineering and Operations.

• Coordinate installation, commissioning, testing, validation and acceptance activities.

Be the Customer's Delivery Owner

• Act as the primary delivery counterpart for the customer.

• Maintain clear communication on progress, risks, decisions and dependencies.

• Coordinate customer stakeholders across operations, engineering, IT, HSE and management.

• Build trust through strong execution, ownership and transparency.

Coordinate Cross-Functional Execution

• Work closely with Engineering, Product, QA and Operations.

• Translate customer and site requirements into clear internal actions.

• Coordinate technical resources during deployment and drive issues to resolution.

• Balance customer urgency with safety, quality and technical readiness.

Build the US Deployment Playbook

• Develop repeatable deployment processes, templates and checklists.

• Capture lessons learned and continuously improve how Hive deploys.

• Help define the local capabilities, suppliers, facilities and resources required as the US business scales.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Strong experience delivering complex projects in industrial, field or customer environments.

• Proven end-to-end ownership of deployments, implementations, commissioning or operational projects.

• Excellent planning, coordination and execution skills.

• Comfortable coordinating technical teams and non-technical customer stakeholders.

• Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management.

• Hands-on mentality and ability to operate effectively when priorities change quickly.

• Strong safety mindset.

• Willingness to travel extensively across the US.

• Professional fluency in English and authorization to work in the United States.

Strongly preferred

• Experience from industrial automation, robotics, autonomous systems, heavy equipment, material handling, warehousing, logistics, mining, construction, manufacturing, field engineering or field service.

• Experience working directly with industrial equipment or operational technology.

What success looks like

• Hive's first US customer deployments are delivered safely and successfully.

• Customers have clear ownership and confidence in Hive's execution.

• Deployment risks and dependencies are identified early and actively managed.

• Operations receives a stable, documented and operationally ready service at handover.

• Hive develops a repeatable US deployment methodology that improves with every customer.

Why Join Hive?

Join Hive at a pivotal stage as we expand into the US and build a new category in Physical AI. You’ll work with cutting-edge autonomy technology and a highly experienced team to bring autonomous industrial machines out of development and into real-world commercial operations.

As we establish and scale our US operations, you’ll have the opportunity to take on significant responsibility from day one, help shape how we operate in the US, and build the playbooks for deploying and operating autonomous machines at scale..

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Early applications are encouraged. Hive values diversity and encourages qualified candidates to apply regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation or background.
