VP of Sales

WHO WE ARE

Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, Ncontracts leads the industry in integrated risk management and compliance solutions, serving over 5,000 financial institutions nationwide. As an eight-time Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies honoree and consistent year-over-year recipient of "Best Places to Work" awards, we offer a thriving, work environment where career growth and life-work balance go hand in hand.

At Ncontracts, you'll join a team of industry experts dedicated to strengthening the financial services sector through innovation and thought leadership. We're seeking creative, collaborative, and self-driven professionals across all areas of our business - from developing cutting-edge solutions to sales, marketing, customer support, and beyond. Join us in our mission to make the financial industry stronger and more resilient, while advancing your career in a supportive, dynamic environment that values your unique skills and perspectives.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a proven sales leader to take the largest part of our business and make it bigger. As VP of Financial Institutions, you'll lead a team of Senior Enterprise Account Executives selling integrated risk, compliance, and vendor management solutions to banks and credit unions across the country.

This is our core market and our biggest revenue engine. More than 5,000 institutions already run on Ncontracts, so the job isn't proving the model works. It's raising the ceiling. Sharper qualification, bigger enterprise deals, and deeper expansion inside accounts we already serve.

If you get energized by coaching sellers, competing for complex enterprise deals, and owning a number in a market that rewards real expertise, keep reading.

About Ncontracts

Ncontracts is the leading integrated risk management platform serving financial institutions, with over 5,000 clients. Our suite of compliance, vendor management, and risk solutions helps community banks, credit unions, and financial services firms manage an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

Regulatory pressure on banks and credit unions keeps building, and examiners keep raising the bar. That reality drives demand for a single platform that connects compliance, vendor, and risk management instead of stitching together point solutions.

The Role

As VP of Financial Institutions, you'll own leadership, execution, and results for our most strategically significant territory. You'll recruit and develop Senior Enterprise Account Executives, set the standard for pipeline discipline and deal strategy, and drive both new customer acquisition and growth within existing accounts.

You'll work shoulder to shoulder with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Enablement so our positioning lands with buyers, our sales motions repeat, and our forecast holds up under scrutiny.

What You'll Do

Build and Lead a High-Performing Team

• Recruit, coach, and develop Senior Enterprise Account Executives who consistently meet or exceed new business and expansion targets

• Define and monitor the activity, pipeline, and conversion metrics that keep the team aligned to the number

• Build a culture that is collaborative, accountable, and honest about where deals actually stand

• Run a disciplined weekly rhythm of pipeline review, deal inspection, and one-on-one coaching

Drive Revenue Growth Across Banks and Credit Unions

• Own new customer acquisition and expansion revenue across the financial institutions segment

• Engage directly with executive buyers to advance complex, multi-stakeholder cycles and close strategic opportunities

• Lead from the front. This is a player-coach role, and your ability to sell alongside your team will be critical

• Forecast accurately and report team performance to senior leadership with a clear read on risk and upside

• Partner with Marketing on demand generation, campaigns, and industry events that build top-of-funnel pipeline

Enable Cross-Functional Excellence

• Serve as a key member of the Revenue Leadership Team, contributing strategic insight across product, marketing, product marketing, and customer success

• Partner with Sales Enablement, RevOps, and Solutions Consulting to build scalable systems, processes, and tools

• Work closely with Customer Success and Vendor Services to deliver a superior customer experience and uncover expansion opportunities

• Advocate for customers in strategic discussions, feeding field insight back into product roadmap and positioning

What You Bring

• Analytical mindset with a bias toward data-driven decision making, from forecast calls to coaching conversations

• Candid and direct: You share and receive constructive feedback openly and consider all perspectives

Preferred Experience

• Understanding of the bank and credit union market, including regulatory pressures, buying committees, and examination cycles

• Practical experience with MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or a comparable qualification and value messaging framework, plus the ability to help others succeed with it
