Immigration Attorney

Manifest Law is one of the first AI-native corporate immigration firms in the country, and one of the fastest-growing — proof that attorneys want to practice law this way. Our attorneys handle sophisticated, high-stakes matters, with technology that removes the busywork rather than replacing the lawyer.

Manifest was built to offer the best of both worlds: the scale of a larger firm with the quality client service of a boutique. Manifest OS — the technology that powers the firm — carries the operational weight, so our attorneys spend their time where it actually matters: on strategy, on judgment, on the client in front of them. The result is a practice with the care of a boutique and the capability of a large firm.

We think the practice of law should be a craft, and the attorneys who do it well deserve a practice that grows with them — supported by technology, not replaced by it, with the time and autonomy to build something that's genuinely their own. We're building the kind of institution attorneys are proud to put on their résumé.

This is a firm for attorneys who want more from their career: real ownership of your cases, the kind of client relationships that come from having time with them, a sustainable pace, and a front-row seat in building what a modern immigration practice can look like.

Immigration law has been done the same way for decades. We're here to raise the bar, and we're hiring the people who will raise it with us.

What You'll Do

• Build and carry individual immigration cases — EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, and O-1A — through every milestone from a clean handoff to a strong, filing-ready submission, with a Managing Attorney's second-chair review before filing.

• Carry a full production caseload — roughly 35-40 active matters at a time — with complete control over how you structure your own days and week.

• Own the client relationship through the life of each case, not just the file: clients should always feel informed and never have to chase you for updates.

• Use Manifest's AI tools and technology — automated handoffs, smart draft tracking, and a unified case-context hub — so every hour you put in goes toward case-advancing work, not coordination.

• Work with Manifest for the duration of your engagement, focused on case production — intake consultations are handled by Manifest's consulting associates on your team.

What We're Looking For

• J.D. or LLM and active U.S. bar admission

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a practicing attorney, with high volume hands-on work in EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, and O-1A extraordinary ability cases, H-1B, or family- and marriage-based matters — solo practitioners welcome

• Rigor, ownership, and strong writing across extraordinary-ability and high-skilled petition work

• Client-management polish: you own the relationship, not just the file

• The ability to take a matter from a clean handoff to completion without being managed

• Comfort with a 1099 independent-contractor engagement and a full time case production caseload

• Bonus: experience with other casetypes a plus, family- and marriage-based matters, corporate cases (H-1B, L-1, TN, E's etc)

How the Engagement Works

This is long term contract paid per case rather than by hour or salary. You are engaged as an independent contractor (1099) Co-Counsel to Manifest for the duration of the engagement (No benefits or paid time off).

• Each case carries its own agreed fee, paid out on a predictable monthly cycle as cases are signed and filed.

• Manifest sources and assigns a caseload; you're also free to bring in cases on your own.

• Self-originated cases — matters you bring in through your own network — are paid at a higher rate than Manifest-sourced cases.

• Every case, regardless of source, is worked to Manifest's standard: SLAs, rigorous legal quality, and client communication that earns loyalty.

For solo practitioners: you keep your own book of business, run through Manifest's platform instead of on your own if you choose. We handle admin, billing, and marketing — you focus on the cases. It's a co-counsel model: full practice-team support and infrastructure, without the overhead of running a practice alone.

Why Attorneys Join Manifest

● Higher-agency work | Intake, document collection, status tracking, and client updates run through Manifest OS — the administrative weight of practice is reduced. Your day goes to strategy, drafting, and the client.

● No billable hour | We charge clients flat fees, so there's no timekeeping requirement and no billable target. Your work is judged on outcomes — what gets filed and how clients experience the relationship — not hours recorded.

● Remote by design | The entire legal side of the firm works remotely. It's how the firm was built, and there are no plans to change it — practice from wherever you do your best work.

● Real upside | Pay is competitive from day one, with incentives tied to client outcomes and firm performance, so strong work is rewarded as the practice grows.

● Ground floor | Manifest is an ambitious firm building the infrastructure to last — and to change the way law firms operate. Attorneys who join now grow with it: into senior roles, into leadership, into shaping what the practice becomes next.

● Your experience shapes the practice | Attorney feedback and firsthand case experience directly inform what the firm builds next, so the technology keeps evolving around how the best lawyers actually work.

Ready to Help Redefine Legal Work?

We're looking for attorneys who lead through expertise, treat Manifest's technology as a genuine performance multiplier rather than a shortcut, and want to do the most meaningful work of their careers.

The attorneys who thrive here are full-time, deeply client-centered, tech-forward, and mission-driven — energized by building something real, not just joining something finished. If that's you, we want to hear from you.

Compensation & Pay Transparency

This is contract case production, paid per case rather than by hour or salary. You are engaged as an independent contractor (1099) Co-Counsel to Manifest for the duration of the engagement, with no benefits or paid time off.

Carrying a full time caseload of 35-40 cases would result in the equivalent salary of approximately $140-190K+ depending upon volume of cases you take and complexity of cases, along with other factors.

Our Use of AI in Recruiting

Manifest uses AI-powered tools to support administrative aspects of our recruitment process, such as organizing applications and surfacing candidate information for review. Some interviews may also be recorded and transcribed using an AI note-taking tool, used solely to support accurate note-taking — it does not score, analyze, or evaluate candidates in any way. These tools do not make hiring decisions, and no candidate is advanced, screened out, or otherwise dispositioned without review by a member of our human recruiting team. You are welcome to ask any interviewer for a non-recorded conversation instead. If you would like to request a reasonable accommodation or an alternative application process at any stage, please contact your recruiter.
