The Role
We're hiring a Product Counsel to join our legal team in New York. You'll work hands-on with our product and engineering teams, advising across the full product lifecycle and negotiating the agreements through which we license data and content to the platform.
This is a broad role with real ownership. You'll work across privacy, intellectual property and AI regulation, help build the processes that get legal input into product decisions early, and shape how Legora builds and ships AI tools for lawyers.
What You’ll Do:

Partner with product and engineering teams as their hands-on legal counsel, from concept through launch and iteration.

Advise on product legal risks, including privacy, AI governance, terms of service and regulatory compliance.

Negotiate data and content licensing agreements with publishers, data providers and other partners.

Draft and negotiate other product-related agreements, including integrations, partnerships and marketing, and help protect Legora's intellectual property and brand.
