Summary
We're looking for an Associate Salesforce Engineer to join our team and build a career writing production code on the Salesforce platform, as a full member of an Agile Scrum team. This is an entry-level, org-wide engineering role — you'll work across whatever part of the codebase needs attention, learning Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC) under the guidance of more senior engineers, while taking part in daily standups and sprint ceremonies from day one.
This position is currently designated as a remote-eligible role.
Responsibilities
-
Fix small, well-scoped bugs and implement simple Apex/LWC changes, with review from a senior engineer
-
Write unit tests for your own code, meeting the team's code-coverage standard
-
Participate in daily standups and sprint ceremonies (planning, review, retrospective) as a full member of the Scrum team, learning how the team estimates work in story points
-
Learn the team's Jira-based workflow — how tickets/stories move from backlog through sprint to done
-
Use Git for version control, following the team's branching strategy and pull-request process
-
Learn to move changes through the sandbox → UAT → production pipeline using Gearset, under supervision
-
Use an AI coding assistant where helpful for boilerplate and test generation, always reviewing the output with the same care you'd give your own code
