Overview of the role
As a NEC Project Manager, you will report to the Lead Project Manager and Project Director and deliver the role of the Project Manager on ECC contracts that will deliver the Greater Dublin Drainage Project (GDD). GDD is a major wastewater infrastructure scheme being developed by Uisce Éireann to meet the growing demand for sewage treatment in the Greater Dublin Area. It involves the construction of a new regional wastewater treatment plant at Clonshaugh in North Dublin, along with supporting infrastructure such as a 14 km underground orbital sewer, a pumping station, and an outfall pipeline that will discharge treated water safely to the Irish Sea. Designed to serve a population equivalent of around 500,000 people, the project aims to relieve pressure on existing facilities such as the Ringsend plant, which are already operating near capacity.
