Content Marketing Manager

About Norm Ai
Norm Ai, the agentic law company, has a client base with a combined $30 trillion in assets under management.

Norm Ai pioneered Legal Engineering, the process that empowers lawyers to build and supervise domain-specific AI agents with Norm’s proprietary suite of no-code software tools. Norm Ai technology is deployed inside many of the largest and most consequential institutions in the world.

Norm Ai is also the technology behind Norm Law, LLP, a separate but affiliated AI-native law firm built for the era of agentic AI. Norm Law’s attorneys advise leading institutions across private funds, private equity, venture capital, real estate, registered funds, and financial regulation, using the same legal intelligence platform that powers Norm Ai’s products.

AI Fluency:
Norm Ai prefers all team members to be fluent in AI. Successful candidates actively use AI in their day-to-day work to support thinking, creation, and problem-solving. They use it to improve the quality and speed of their work and to continuously refine how work gets done end-to-end.

Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate and discuss their AI usage throughout the interview process, including concrete examples of tools, workflows, and outcomes. We look for practical, hands-on experience, not theoretical familiarity.

This Role

Norm is looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager to create distinctive, high-impact content that builds our brand, advances our point of view, and helps clients understand the value of Norm’s products and services. As a senior member of our marketing team, you’ll work directly with executives and subject-matter experts to turn their expertise, ideas, and perspectives into compelling thought leadership and marketing materials.

This role requires an exceptional writer, editor, and strategic thinker who can translate complex topics into clear, persuasive narratives for sophisticated audiences. You’ll shape content from initial concept and point of view through drafting, production, and distribution—creating work that earns attention, strengthens Norm’s position in the market, and supports our most important business priorities.

What You’ll Do

• Develop our point of view: Work directly with executives and subject-matter experts to uncover strong ideas and turn them into differentiated perspectives on AI, law, regulation, and the future of work

• Create high-impact content: Write and produce thought leadership, reports, articles, executive bylines, case studies, presentations, campaign assets, website copy, sales materials, and other content for priority audiences

• Lead the editorial strategy: Identify the topics, narratives, and formats that will strengthen Norm’s position in the market and establish a clear editorial roadmap around them

• Own the editorial process: Lead content from concept through publication, including research, interviews, outlining, drafting, editing, stakeholder reviews, production, and distribution

• Shape the narrative: Partner with Brand, Communications, Product Marketing, GTM, and Norm Law to ensure content reflects Norm’s positioning, voice, and strategic priorities

• Build signature content programs: Develop repeatable editorial franchises and content series that establish authority, support campaigns, and create sustained engagement with target clients

• Extend the impact: Turn major content pieces into channel-specific assets for social, email, events, campaigns, executive communications, and sales enablement

• Drive project management: Manage editorial calendars, contributors, and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional work on time

• Own the metrics: Measure content performance, gather qualitative feedback, and use audience insights to continually improve topics, formats, distribution, and impact

What We’re Looking For

Core Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, communications, journalism, or a related field

• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of clear, compelling work created for sophisticated or executive audiences

• A track record of developing high-impact thought leadership and marketing materials across multiple formats and channels

• Experience working directly with executives and subject-matter experts to develop original points of view and translate expertise into accessible content

• Strong editorial judgment and the ability to identify the ideas, arguments, and stories most likely to resonate with an audience

• Experience independently shaping content strategy and leading complex projects from an ambiguous starting point through publication

• Excellent project management skills, with experience managing multiple content initiatives, contributors, and deadlines simultaneously

• Comfort engaging deeply with complex, technical, or highly regulated subject matter

• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, moving fluidly from a broad idea to a polished final product

• Comfort with ambiguity and a bias for thoughtful action in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AI, legal technology, regulation and policy, or another complex enterprise category

• Experience writing for legal, compliance, risk, technology, or C-suite audiences

• Experience creating research-driven reports, executive thought leadership, or original editorial franchises

• Familiarity with content distribution, search, AEO, social media, email marketing, and audience development

• Experience directing designers, video producers, agencies, freelancers, or other creative contributors

What Success Looks Like

60 Days

• Present a prioritized content strategy aligned with Norm’s business priorities, target audiences, campaigns, and key thought leadership opportunities

• Establish an editorial calendar and clear processes for developing ideas, interviewing experts, reviewing drafts, and producing content

• Begin developing priority content with internal experts, including clear narratives, formats, distribution plans, and success measures

90 Days

• Publish the first set of high-impact content and thought leadership developed in close partnership with Norm’s executives and subject-matter experts

• Establish a clear roadmap for Norm’s ongoing content and editorial programs

• Create a repeatable system for turning company expertise and market developments into timely, distinctive content

• Demonstrate early impact through audience engagement, internal adoption, campaign performance, and qualitative feedback from clients and stakeholders
