In this position...
Ford Motor Company is seeking a strategic and highly collaborative Business Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture team. This role is specifically designed to bridge the gap between complex technical solutions (SAP S/4HANA, Legacy Systems) and business value streams (Finance, Purchasing, etc.).
The successful candidate will serve as a primary liaison, ensuring that architecture is not only technically sound but also effectively communicated and governed based on enterprise standards. You will focus on driving consistency, transparency, and alignment through communication and collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
Based in Dearborn, MI, this is a hybrid position with a requirement to be onsite four or more days per week. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a Strategic Translator: Bridge the communication gap between Product Owners, Technical Architects, and Business Leads to ensure technical roadmaps align with business value streams.
- Facilitate Alignment: Lead blueprinting sessions and joint working sessions to drive consensus on future-state business models and system integrations.
- Trusted Advisor: Develop deep relationships across organizational boundaries to become a key contributor to portfolio planning and integration by communicating the relationship between strategic initiatives, business processes, applications and technologies.
- Knowledge Sharing: Develop and deliver training materials and "learning sessions" to help both technical and business audiences understand architecture standards and methodologies.
Governance & Standards
- Establish Frameworks: Develop and implement architecture processes, standards, and methodologies that ensure data integrity and architectural consistency across the Ford ecosystem.
