Sales Division Leader

First Circle is an SME credit-centric, multi-product NeoBank in Southeast Asia which is fast-growing (>100% year on year), profitable, and internationalising soon.

We started life as an SME lender in the Philippines in 2016 to solve the SME credit gap by using technology to systemise underwriting, deliver exceptional UX, and automate away delivery costs. We’ve delivered our clients the fastest, cheapest, most flexible credit line available to businesses anywhere in Southeast Asia. We’ve been rewarded with both fast growth and exceptional unit economics, a rare combination in our space.

Over the past two years we’ve expanded our product range to include business bank accounts & payments, e-Invoices, corporate credit cards, rooftop solar, and most recently deposits catalysed by securing a full bank charter in the Philippines. In 2027, we’ll expand our geographical coverage to include at least two new markets in APAC.

Our excellent track record results from our people & culture. We combine high standards & intensity with a collegiate environment. Our barometers of success are the rate of personal growth of our people, how long high performers choose to stay, and ensuring we raise the bar with every hire.

Our sales team is growing rapidly and we are searching for an experienced Sales Division Leader to help us with the next phase of our growth. Over the last year our acquisition department has grown from tens of sales reps to hundreds of sales reps, driving our business growth. Your job is to take on leadership for an entire division, focused on unlocking new growth in a specific customer segment of the market (new segments may include national/regional and mid-market/enterprise). The primary product you will be selling is credit via our Business Credit Line, along with other products including business bank accounts and corporate cards. You will report directly to the VP Operations.

If you've built and led high-performing teams to strong results, can define a growth strategy and execute on it with intensity, and want a challenge with real upside then we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Own

You will be responsible for a sales division, starting from one or two teams and building from there rapidly according to the opportunity. Within 6 months your division could be as large as 6 teams with 90 sales reps in total. You will own:

• Strategy: you will define how you want to deliver growth, within your specific segment of the market. You will identify the largest opportunities, and define your sales delivery model to unlock them
• Execution: you will be responsible for executing on your strategy. You will be in the details, intimately on top of how your teams are doing with deep awareness of where the problems are and what can be done to address them
• Operating rhythm: you will run your forecasting, funnel reviews, and performance tracking, supported by our sales operations team
• Cross-functional collaboration: you will work closely with other teams at First Circle including credit, product, marketing, and sales ops
• Feedback: you will feed insights from the market and customers straight back into our product team, helping us to continually improve our offering
