Who we are
We’re a bold team with a bright future; and we’re looking for people who want to be part of it.
Evolution Mining is a premier global gold company operating six mines across Australia and Canada. We’re transforming mines and uplifting careers. We’ve extended the mine life of our Ernest Henry Operations to 2040 and doubled its ore reserves. We took our Cowal Gold Operations underground in just seven years. We’re transforming our Red Lake Operations, restoring it as a premier Canadian gold mine. That kind of ambition creates careers, not just jobs.
When we asked our people what they enjoy most about working at Evolution, two things came up across every site: career growth and the quality of the people. Here, you’ll work alongside people who care, who push one another to be better, with leaders who are there to support you.
What’s the opportunity?
This is a chance to step into a genuine site leadership role where your influence will be felt across every part of the operation.
At Mungari, you'll work alongside leaders from underground, open pit and processing to strengthen safety performance, embed critical risk management and drive a proactive safety culture. You'll lead a team of Health & Safety Advisors while helping shape how health, safety and risk management are delivered across a growing operation with a long-term future.
Reporting to the Superintendent Health, Safety & Training, you'll:
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of Health & Safety Advisors supporting underground, open pit and surface operations.
- Partner with operational leaders to improve safety performance and strengthen critical risk controls.
- Support and lead incident investigations, ensuring meaningful learnings are identified and embedded.
- Facilitate risk assessments and coach leaders to proactively manage risk in the field.
- Drive continuous improvement across health, safety, emergency response, injury management and site systems.
- Oversee site hygiene programs and support compliance with regulatory requirements.
This position operates on an 8:6 roster (12-hour days) and is available as either FIFO from Perth or residential in Kalgoorlie, with relocation support available within Australia.
Why Mungari Operations?
Mungari is a cornerstone asset in our portfolio, with a mine life to at least 2038. It’s operationally diverse, with opportunities to work on the surface or underground and a great team of people who care. Our recent expansion of the processing plant has more than doubled processing capacity from 2 million to 4.2 million tonnes per year. With open pit and processing all on one site, the operational diversity is ideal for uplifting careers.
