SAP FICO Implementation Consultant

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for Senior__SAP FICO Implementation Consultant for one of our partners, a leader in the Consulting & Technology Services__!

THE ROLE

You’ll lead SAP Finance and Controlling implementations from the first workshop to go live and beyond. That means sitting with finance teams to understand how their business really works, designing a solution that fits, configuring it, testing it, training the users and staying with them until it runs smoothly. It’s a hands on, client facing role for someone who’s comfortable owning the whole FICO stream and guiding the people around them.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead SAP FICO implementation projects from initiation through to post go live support, on time, within budget and to a high standard
• Run requirements workshops with business stakeholders, IT teams and vendors, and design FICO solutions that match the organisation’s goals
• Analyse existing finance processes and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for optimisation and automation
• Configure FICO modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting and Internal Orders
• Lead data migration from legacy systems, including extraction, cleansing and transformation
• Plan and run unit testing, system integration testing and user acceptance testing
• Train end users and support adoption during and after implementation
• Troubleshoot complex issues with technical teams and SAP support, finding root causes and fixing them properly
• Recommend process improvements and system enhancements based on SAP best practice
• Mentor and guide junior consultants on implementation methodology and tools

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus
• 6+ years of hands on SAP FICO implementation, configuration and support experience
• Proven experience leading full cycle FICO implementations, from requirements and design through configuration, testing and training
• Strong configuration skills, including chart of accounts, company codes, fiscal year variants, document types and posting keys
• Solid understanding of FICO integration with other modules such as MM and SD
• Deep knowledge of financial accounting principles and the ability to map business needs to SAP functionality
• Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and change management skills
• Good project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Fluency in English; French or German is an advantage
• SAP FICO certification is highly desirable
