Why surf the wave with roadsurfer?
Become part of the #roadsurferfamily and work in a company culture where you are part of an open, fast-growing team with ambitious goals and positive team spirit. We stick together and combine a brutal hands-on mentality with fun at work! It means shaping the future of outdoor travel and building an ecosystem for sustainable outdoor travel.
As Station Manager, you're the captain of the ship. You'll own the day-to-day operations of the Miami station — leading your team, keeping the fleet in top shape, and making sure every customer drives away as a happy roadsurfer. You'll also be someone who thrives on data: tracking quality scores, analyzing what's working, and making smart, cost-conscious decisions to keep the station performing at its best.
You'll manage both people and process across a lot of moving parts, so this role suits someone who is quick, agile, and has a startup environment mindset. You'll also work closely with Maintenance & Repair, Logistics, Operations, Finance, and HR to keep improving the customer experience across roadsurfer North America. Our core values of Trustety, Customer At Heart, Fully Hands On, Own Your Ship, and Free Hugs guide how every roadie works.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Station & Operations Management
-
Autonomously lead and establish station operations, collaborating closely with headquarters to manage day-to-day activities on-site.
-
Implement existing standards and processes while contributing your own ideas to improve vehicle returns, handovers, and preparation.
-
Maintain constant communication with international teams to ensure ongoing optimization across all roadsurfer locations.
Performance & Quality Management
-
Own your station's Service Quality Score (SQS) — roadsurfer's core KPI that measures customer experience through post-rental surveys.
-
Monitor and act on the two pillars of SQS: Fleet Care Quality (van cleanliness and technical condition) and Customer Care Quality (staff friendliness and pickup wait times).
-
Analyze performance data and trends to identify gaps and implement strategies to get — and stay — above target.
