Our flagship asset, the Plutonic Gold Belt in Central Western Australia, currently produces approximately 85koz of gold annually and is positioned for significant growth over the coming years. Through resource expansion, mine development and operational optimisation, we're building a long-term future across multiple mining centres feeding a central processing hub.

Reporting across underground and open pit operations, the Mining Engineer will provide technical expertise to deliver safe, efficient and profitable mining outcomes. Working closely with Geotechnical Engineers, Geologists and Operational Leaders, you will support mine planning, manage ground control risks and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to underground operations, assisting supervisors with production planning and execution.
- Monitor development, production, equipment utilisation and stope performance against mine plans, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct underground inspections to ensure compliance with mine designs, schedules, safety requirements and operational standards.
- Investigate production variances and delays, implementing practical solutions to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Design and issue development and production drill patterns, charging plans and firing designs to optimise fragmentation, recovery and dilution control.
- Review drilling and blasting performance, complete post-blast reconciliations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with underground supervisors, drill crews and blast crews to ensure designs are practical, achievable and effectively executed.
- Complete reconciliations and variance analysis, supporting the optimisation of mining sequences, development priorities and stope extraction strategies.
Requirements
- Degree in Mining Engineering or similar
- Experience in underground hard rock mining operations, with a sound understanding of underground mining methods and production processes.
- Demonstrated experience in drill and blast design, execution and short-term mine scheduling.
