Salary : $18–$25/hr
Remote
Schedule: Full time - Monday - Friday. 9AM - 5PM EST
We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to support the development and maintenance of high-performing marketing websites and landing pages. This role focuses on building modular WordPress themes using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and supporting marketing systems through integrations, tracking implementation, and conversion-focused landing pages.
You will work closely with designers, marketers, and automation teams to deliver scalable websites and marketing assets that drive lead generation and performance.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain custom WordPress themes using ACF flexible content blocks as a modular page builder architecture
- Perform routine WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates across our portfolio of client sites
- Develop and QA landing pages for paid ad campaigns, ensuring proper form functionality, tracking, and CRM connectivity
- Build and configure lead magnet tools including Typeform quizzes, Perspective funnels, chatbots, and similar conversion assets
- Set up and manage integrations between websites, CRMs, and marketing platforms using webhooks, APIs, and automation tools like Zapier
- Implement pixels, conversion tracking, and UTM structures in coordination with the performance marketing team
- Collaborate with designers to translate Figma comps into clean, responsive WordPress builds
- Support and optimize client sites built on page builders (Gutenberg, Elementor, Divi, etc.) as needed
- Troubleshoot and debug front-end and back-end issues across client sites
- Use AI tools to accelerate development workflows while maintaining code quality and manual oversight
Requirements
- 3+ years building custom WordPress themes with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) flexible content blocks
- 3+ years working with APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms (Zapier, Make, or similar)
- Working knowledge of popular WordPress page builders (Gutenberg, Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, etc.) with the ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and extend them for client needs
- Demonstrated ability to use AI as a development tool — not as a crutch, but as a force multiplier for speed and problem-solving
- Conversion rate optimization (CRO) experience
