The Team You’ll Join

You'll join the ROOMS editorial team. ROOMS is all about making the most of the space you’ve got. From rental makeovers and clever small-space ideas to affordable decorating, brilliant finds and the realities of living in a home that isn’t quite your dream home (yet), we’re here to make interiors fun, accessible and inspiring.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Editor, you'll create engaging, original, video-first content for ROOMS across Instagram, TikTok and other social platforms, helping to grow our audience and establish ROOMS as a distinctive voice in interiors.

You’ll help develop ideas, film, present, edit and publish content that speaks directly to renters, first-time home decorators and people living in smaller spaces.

This is a hands-on, highly creative role with plenty of opportunities to experiment, develop new formats and become an on-camera personality for the brand.

When applying, we’d love you to:

Make us a video! Create a 30 to 60-second Reel or TikTok on the theme “One thing I’d change about my home.” We want to see your personality, creativity, presenting skills and how you bring an idea to life. Film it on your phone, edit it yourself and have fun with it.

Pitch us three ideas for videos you’d love to make for ROOMS.

We’re not looking for expensive equipment or polished production. We want to see your ideas, your energy and your instinct for making great social content. And don’t worry if you don’t have a huge following. We’re far more interested in what you create than how many followers you have.

Paste a link to your video when applying in the "portfolio" section of the application form.

What you’ll bring

• Experience building and managing your own Instagram, TikTok or other social account, ideally with an engaged audience.
• Examples of videos you’ve created that have performed particularly well.
• Previous experience creating content for a brand, publisher, business or creator.
• An interest in photography, editing, presenting or interviewing.
• Familiarity with social analytics and an understanding of what drives engagement and audience growth.

Minimum Requirements

• A passion for interiors and how people really live. You’re interested in homes, decorating, shopping, design and the challenges of renting or living in a small space.
• A creative thinker. You’re full of ideas, have a good eye and know how to turn something ordinary into entertaining content.
• A genuine love of social media. You spend time on Instagram and TikTok because you enjoy them, and you understand the creators, trends and formats people are talking about.

What we offer

• Uncapped leave
• Enhanced parental leave
• Discounted rates with Dental care and Private Medical care
• When we hit our targets, enjoy a share of our profits with a bonus
• Refer a friend scheme - with payment following the successful hire.
• Well-being support with access to our Colleague Assistant Programmes
• Opportunity to purchase shares in Future, with our Share Incentive Plan
• Salary sacrifice Pension scheme up to 5% match
• Free drinks and snacks in our offices

The expected range for this role is £29,000 - £32,000.

This is a hybrid role, working 3 days per week from our London Office, 2 days from home
