About aion
Aion is the enterprise AI platform, a full-stack solution for building, fine-tuning, and deploying AI at scale. Whether an organization is modernizing internal operations, launching AI-powered products, or transforming customer experiences, Aion takes them from concept to production on a single, unified platform.
We work differently than most AI companies: our teams deploy alongside our customers, turning production-ready AI into real business outcomes in weeks, not quarters.
We’re a fast-growing, VC-backed startup led by founders with a track record of successful exits. With teams across the US, UK, and India, we’re building the next generation of enterprise AI and we’re looking for exceptional people to help us scale.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Head of People and Culture to build and lead the people function at aion. You’ll work closely with the founding team to scale our early team into a world-class organization, helping us attract, retain, and grow exceptional talent across multiple geographies.
This role is ideal for someone who has led People/HR functions in fast-paced startups and thrives in building culture, processes, and teams from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with founders and leadership on organizational design and people strategy.
- Build scalable people processes for hiring, onboarding, performance, and retention.
- Drive initiatives that foster a strong, inclusive, and high-trust culture.
- Mentor and support managers in building high-performing teams.
- Oversee talent development, career growth programs, and engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and policies across regions.
- Continuously improve HR systems and processes to keep pace with aion’s growth.
Requirements
About You
- 6+ years of People/HR experience, with leadership experience.
- Background in high-growth startups or scale-ups (ideally 50–250 employees).
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, talent development, and organizational design.
- Experience working with distributed/global teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on execution in a startup environment
Benefits
- Join at the ground floor of an ambitious AI infrastructure startup.
- Work directly with founders and senior leadership.
- Competitive compensation, equity, and generous PTO.
- Flexible, high-trust work environment.
- Clear path for professional growth and leadership opportunities.
