Managing Director

Managing Director (Club Exec) - London

We’re on a mission to close the world’s tech skills gap.

We help organisations navigate the future of technology, combining human expertise, emerging tech and AI to deliver better outcomes, faster.

Since 2014, we’ve worked side-by-side with clients to solve complex challenges, build high-performing teams, and create lasting capability. As technology continues to evolve, we believe the most successful organisations will be those that combine the best of both: human ingenuity AND intelligent technology.

That belief is embedded in everything we do. We call it the genius of the AND: deep expertise AND practical delivery, innovation AND responsibility, ambitious work AND sustainable careers.

Through our Guide, Build and Equip approach, we help organisations embrace change, deliver meaningful impact, and develop the skills they need to thrive in an increasingly agentic world.

About the role:

As Club Executive you’ll be fully accountable for your club’s success: optimising commercial performance, client delivery, client satisfaction and account development. You will also act as culture champion, fostering the engagement and growth of your ANDis and protecting and promoting our values, as you drive operational excellence.

Your accountabilities:

• Drive account leadership & commercial ownership – Act as the primary business leader across key accounts, setting overall strategic direction, driving account health, and taking end-to-end accountability for commercial success, executive relationships, and long-term client value.

• Solve your clients’ challenges - you’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients at C-suite and Director level, leading consultative, insight-driven conversations to shape ambition and create opportunities. You’ll bring technical and commercial expertise to connect the full breadth of AND’s services to client value.

• Drive client and market growth - you’ll create and deliver a client growth strategy, shaping value propositions and securing deals. You’ll build your market presence: network widely and nurture relationships to extend AND’s impact

• Support people and capability – Maintain an environment that supports team engagement, enables ongoing development, and helps ANDis perform at their best.

• Run a remarkable Club - You’ll lead the operational and commercial performance of your Club: owning the P&L, revenue forecasting, budgeting, invoicing, and collections. You’ll ensure alignment to AND’s operating model, and promote AND’s brand, culture, and values, creating a high-performing club for your ANDis to be proud of.

We hire for these behavioural competencies in our Club Execs:

• Accountability - You bring the ownership, initiative, drive and pace to deliver excellence. You are a confident decision maker, skilled in navigating complexity and comfortable making the ultimate call under pressure
• Business Development - You are a trusted, credible advisor to clients at C-Suite level. You are skilled in leading strategic conversations, shaping commercial deals with the value agreement front of mind.  You are visible in your market, actively extending your professional network.
• Commercial success - You deliver revenue and margin targets by managing client accounts and commercial levers effectively. .
• Leadership - You are self aware, values-led and you learn from feedback. You are a highly credible, inspiring and skilful communicator. You model agility and resilience.
• People Experience - You appreciate the range of factors that drive engagement. You promote psychological safety and build an environment of trust, inclusion, learning and growth in your BU.

About you:

• You care deeply about producing high-quality work that delivers real value
• You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex problems collaboratively
• You bring strong expertise in your craft, alongside a willingness to keep learning
• You communicate clearly and build trust quickly with clients and colleagues
• You’re pragmatic, adaptable and outcome-focused
• You enjoy sharing knowledge and helping others grow
• You value low-ego collaboration and enjoy leading multidisciplinary teams

You’ll embody the following traits:

• Ambitious: Leaders set bold direction, drive growth through ambitious decisions, and work with energy and pace. They  create clarity through effective, compelling communication, get everyone aligned in purpose, and inspire confidence, even when the path ahead is not fully defined. They act as whole-enterprise architects of the future, building momentum and excitement in what we can all achieve together.
• Curious: Leaders are dedicated to continuous discovery and their outside-in perspective ensures they are constantly alert to emerging trends and opportunities. They are passionate about possibilities and actively create the conditions for learning: encourage innovation, coach and empower ANDis to imagine and challenge. Leaders iterate and embrace early failure as part of long-term success.
• Client-centric: Leaders operate at the highest level of client partnership to create lasting value. They deeply understand client contexts, putting clients at the heart of every decision and aligning their success with AND’s long-term growth. Leaders champion a culture where deeply integrated client–AND collaboration, shared meaning, and pride are the norm.
• Growth minded: Leaders exemplify a growth mindset, and recognise in an environment of constant change sometimes it is necessary to ‘unlearn’ old ways  to grow. They empower others through coaching, and are inspiring role models for giving feedback and learning from experience. They act as stewards for AND's future capability, committed to building our capability for the long term, leaving AND stronger for the future.
• Human: Leaders are self-aware, values-led and understand their impact on others. They build meaningful connections, influence well, and create psychologically safe, inclusive  environments where all ANDis feel valued, supported and able to thrive. Through honest and courageous conversations, leaders provide the challenge and support for all ANDis to achieve excellence together.

We increasingly need leaders who not only embody our cultural traits and deliver strong commercial performance but who:

• Lead through ambiguity and complexity (VUCA) with courage, execute difficult decisions ready to iterate, pivot and experiment
• Amplify ANDi performance and cultivate spaces where both human judgement and technology flourish
• Master commercial and craft to support client’s bridge to tech enabled solutions with tangible business results for the client and AND
• Inspire followership and credibly spearhead innovation and capability development that clients and ANDis want to be part of

Why join AND Digital?

We’re building a culture where talented people can do meaningful work, continue growing, AND enjoy the journey along the way.

Our model is designed to build belonging and connection: we’re organised into regional ‘Clubs’ of no more than 80 people, so you (and our clients) get the benefits of that small company feel while also being connected to a larger whole.

Our Practice Areas act as a ‘second home’ for our ANDis - a place where they can innovate and learn with like-minded experts who care deeply about their craft, support each other generously, and believe the best ideas come from collaboration, not hierarchy.

Our culture is rooted in our values of Wonder, Share and Delight, and shows up through five traits that we celebrate and nurture in all our ANDis: we value curiosity, ambition and a growth-mindset. We are deeply client-centric. Most important of all we are human - we create an inclusive environment where people feel trusted, supported and able to be themselves.

By joining AND, we’ll provide:

• 25 days bookable holiday + flexible Bank Holidays
