About BHP

At BHP, we believe our purpose goes beyond mining: we work to improve lives and create a more sustainable future. We are a global resources company with operations in more than 90 locations worldwide.

In Canada, our presence is growing with the development of one of the most significant potash projects in the world — Jansen. This project reflects our long‑term commitment to sustainability, community engagement, and economic growth.

About BHP - Jansen

Imagine being part of something truly world‑class — something shaping the future of sustainable agriculture and responsible resource development. That’s what the Jansen Potash Project offers.

Located about 140 kilometres east of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Jansen is set to become one of the largest and most sustainable potash mines on the planet. With a CAD$14 billion (US$10.5 billion) investment, it represents the largest private investment in Saskatchewan’s history, and a bold step forward for BHP in Canada.

But Jansen is more than a mine; it’s a long‑term opportunity to build something meaningful. During construction, it will create ~5,500 jobs, and once operating, ~900 permanent roles. Whether you're looking to grow your career, contribute to a sustainable future, or be part of a legacy project, Jansen could be the place where it all begins.

Why BHP?
