Social Worker

Third Space Therapy combines the independence of private practice with the support of a group setting, focused on expanding Medicaid-covered behavioral healthcare.

We're looking for passionate Associate Therapists to provide telehealth therapy to the Medicaid population, accrue clinical hours toward licensure, and grow through continuing education with supervision built in.

This is a part-time, hourly W-2 position based in Massachusetts.

At Third Space Therapy, we offer

• Flexible scheduling. Build a schedule that fits your life, with the stability of a steady caseload and a consistent paycheck.

• Paid for all your work. You're paid for your time — including documentation, administrative work, and client no-shows — not just for sessions completed.

• Employer-paid supervision. We provide the supervision you need for licensure at no cost to you, so you can focus on the work instead of the logistics.

• Benefits. Health benefits, Massachusetts Earned Sick Time, and Paid Family and Medical Leave coverage.

• Administrative support. Our team manages scheduling, insurance, and billing so you can focus on client care.

• Robust referral network. Build a diverse caseload through our connections with insurers, universities, and community providers.

• Cultural influence. Help shape the direction of a growing practice — your input on how we deliver care actually lands.

• Remote practice model. Work from home or anywhere in Massachusetts, with the full support of a group practice behind you.

• Community focus. Make a meaningful difference for Medicaid members and help close real gaps in access to care.

What you'll need

• A valid LCSW license in good standing in Massachusetts

• A Master's degree in Social Work, with at least 6 months of hands-on therapy or assessment experience

• Experience with EHR systems and other digital tools

• A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office for confidential virtual sessions

• Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is preferred, and additional languages are a plus

We're looking for therapists who bring

• A solid grasp of mental health diagnoses

• Knowledge of crafting effective, personalized treatment plans

• A collaborative spirit to work alongside clients in achieving their goals

• Skill in conducting thorough assessments to inform care strategies
