Strategic Accounts Executive

Location: Portsmouth or remote

Travel: 50%

Reports to: Fortify Commercial Leadership

Supports: Insurcomm Restoration and Rytech Restoration

When a hospital, a senior living community, a property management company, or a national retailer has water in the building or fire damage overnight, they need one trusted partner who can get the right team there fast, in every market they operate. As a Strategic Accounts Executive at Fortify, you build those relationships at the national level and make sure the promise holds up locally. You will be telling a story nobody else in the industry can tell.

About Us

Fortify Companies is changing the way property protection works. Our roots are in restoration, and we believe helping people rebuild after a loss is only half the job. Through our family of companies, including Insurcomm Restoration and Rytech Restoration, we deliver coordinated care from prevention to restoration in markets across the country. Our teams, technology, and local expertise come together so property owners and insurers get fewer losses, faster recoveries, and someone they can trust. Fortify is backed by Summit Partners.

The Role

The Strategic Accounts Executive finds, develops, and wins new national commercial relationships across target verticals, including healthcare and senior living, property management, retail and hospitality, and government and education. We are hiring 2 to 3 people into this role. Each person's focus will be shaped by where their existing relationships are strongest, so you may focus on one vertical or cover more than one.

Winning the account is only half the job. You will own it from signed agreement through local activation, working with our Regional Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, and Rytech franchisees to turn a national agreement into real work in local markets. After that, you stay on as the executive relationship owner for renewals, growth, and escalations. You will represent both Insurcomm Restoration and Rytech Restoration, positioning Fortify as one coordinated national partner for emergency response, mitigation, and reconstruction.

What You'll Do

Win new national commercial business

• Build and run a prospecting plan targeting national accounts in your assigned vertical.

• Identify and prioritize target accounts based on size, geographic reach, and growth potential.

• Build relationships with decision makers in facilities, risk management, procurement, and operations.

• Lead discovery conversations to understand each prospect's current vendors, pain points, service needs, and decision process.

• Share the Fortify story: national coverage, mitigation and reconstruction capability, fast emergency response, and large loss experience.

• Build and present proposals, RFP responses, and business cases tailored to each account.

• Lead or support pricing, contracting, and negotiation through to a signed agreement.

• Represent Fortify at national industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.

• Share what you learn about competitors and the market with Fortify commercial leadership to shape pricing, positioning, and strategy.

Turn national agreements into local work

• Hand off newly won accounts cleanly to Regional Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, and Rytech franchisees, with clear service expectations, SLAs, and points of contact.

• Work with regional sales teams and franchisees to activate signed accounts and convert them into local assignment volume.

• Share commercial best practices and playbook guidance so national accounts are handled consistently in every market.

• Partner with local production and operations teams so the work delivered matches what was promised during the sale.

Own and grow the relationship

• Serve as the executive relationship owner for signed national accounts, running regular business reviews and acting as the escalation point.

• Track account performance against national commitments and address service gaps before they put the relationship at risk.

• Own renewals and find opportunities to expand accounts into new service lines, markets, or divisions.

Manage your pipeline and forecast

• Keep an accurate pipeline in our CRM, including stage, probability, timing, and revenue potential.

• Provide regular, accurate forecasts of new account wins and revenue.

• Track calls, meetings, and proposals against targets and adjust your outreach as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the team and business.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of business development or national account sales experience, ideally in facilities services, property management, healthcare, government contracting, hospitality, or restoration and disaster recovery.

• An established network of decision makers at national commercial organizations, and a track record of turning those relationships into new business.

• Experience working through a distributed or franchised delivery network, connecting a centrally negotiated agreement to locally delivered service.

• Comfort with long sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and complex procurement processes. RFP and RFI experience is a plus.

• Strong discovery and consultative selling skills.

• Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Comfort coaching teams with different levels of commercial experience.

• You take ownership, hold yourself accountable, and are ready to build the processes and relationships needed to stand up a new function.

• The ability to earn credibility with facilities, risk, procurement, and operations leaders, as well as regional and franchise sales teams.

• Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.

• Willingness to travel about 50% of the time for prospect meetings, conferences, and business development.

What Success Looks Like

You turn your network of national commercial relationships into signed, growing business for Fortify. Those accounts show up as real, trackable work in local markets because our Regional Sales Managers and Rytech franchisees know what was promised and have the support they need to deliver. Signed accounts do not fade after the handoff. You stay close, catch service gaps early, renew agreements, and grow accounts into new markets and service lines.

We will look at new prospects and opportunities created, pipeline value, new accounts signed, new account revenue, how quickly signed accounts generate local work, feedback from our regional teams and franchisees, and client satisfaction from first meeting through local delivery.

What We Offer

• A role with real impact. The accounts you win mean faster help for people and properties on their worst days.

• The experience of established restoration companies with the energy of a growing national brand.

• The chance to help build a new commercial function and shape how Fortify grows into new verticals.

• Career growth across multiple companies and markets under the Fortify umbrella.

• A team that values plain talk, hard work, and doing right by our customers.

• Competitive compensation with performance incentives.

• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.

• 401(k) with company match.

• Generous PTO and 9 paid holidays.
