Deal Desk Manager

ABOUT RETELL AI

Retell AI is using first-principles thinking to reimagine the call center with cutting-edge voice AI. Thousands of companies now use Retell's AI voice agents to handle sales, support, and logistics calls that once required large teams of human agents. Backed by Y Combinator, Alt Capital, and other leading investors, we've scaled to $80M in ARR with a team of 50, up from $5M at the start of 2025, and are now valued at over $1.5B.

Our vision for 2026 is to build a modern CX platform where entire contact centers are powered by AI. Instead of basic automation that needs constant human tuning, we're creating intelligent AI “workers” that act as frontline agents, QA analysts, and managers, continuously executing, monitoring, and improving every customer interaction.

We're growing fast and looking for ambitious builders who want to tackle hard technical problems, move quickly, and have a real impact on one of the fastest-growing voice AI companies in the world.

Let's build the future together.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Retell AI transforms customer experience with voice AI for enterprises, including customers like CVS/Aetna, American Airlines, Lenovo, and Grab. We have more customer stories than we can tell!

We're hiring our first Senior Deal Desk Manager to design how to Retell prices, approve, and close enterprise deals. You'll report directly to the founder and work daily in Sales, Finance, and Legal. Our usage-based pricing is still taking shape, and the deals you structure will shape it.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

This hire owns fast, profitable deal approvals from quote to cash.

• Structure and approve non-standard deals (discounts, usage commits, per-minute pricing, payment terms) in hours, not days

• Build the discount approval matrix and pricing guardrails, and model deal margin before every approval

• Run quote-to-cash across CRM, CPQ, Legal handoff, and billing

• Report weekly on cycle time, discount levels, and win rate, and automate approvals where possible

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must have:

• 4+ years in deal desk, pricing, or sales/revenue operations at a B2B SaaS company

• Experience owning an end to end enterprise process for deals over $300K is required

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce or HubSpot and a CPQ tool

• Experience at a VC-backed SaaS/AI company or a big tech/large SaaS company

Nice to have:

• Experience with usage-based or consumption pricing

• Built a deal desk function from scratch

• SQL or scripting skills to automate reporting and approvals

HOW WE EVALUATE

We care less about checkboxes and more about:

• Commercial judgment on real deal scenarios

• Accuracy in pricing and margin models

• Calm, clear decisions under end-of-quarter pressure

• Ability to influence Sales, Finance, and Legal

YOU MIGHT THRIVE IF

• You'd rather say "here's how we can do it" than "no"

• You enjoy a spreadsheet model as much as a live deal call

• You want to build the playbook, not follow one
