About 3Y Health
3Y Health is building the operating system for healthcare practices, an AI-native platform that helps clinicians start, run and grow their practice. We work as a managed services organization (MSO): along with the software, our operations team runs the back office for the clinics we partner with, including billing, insurance and compliance. We currently serve applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy practices and are expanding into other specialties. We're backed by Founders Fund, General Catalyst, SoftBank and 8VC.
About the role
We're expanding into new specialties, and each one needs a single person who owns its launch. As an Operations Lead, an operations manager role with full ownership of a specialty, you'll take that specialty from a blank page to a working back office. You'll work out how billing, insurance and provider support should run, write the SOPs, own the integrations your specialty needs and work with engineering to connect the systems, hire the team, and go live. Once the specialty is running, you'll run it and improve it, and over time take on its revenue operations.
You'll own a specialty, with a team that supports you. A specialty can only start billing and collections once its operations are in place, so your work directly unblocks revenue. We're hiring several Operations Leads, one per specialty, starting now.
You don't need experience in the specialty or in US healthcare. You need to learn fast, care about details and take responsibility for outcomes.
What you'll do
-
Own the launch of one new specialty, from first requirements to go-live for billing and collections
-
Learn how the specialty works: how its practices bill, which payers, codes and rules matter, how authorizations and benefits checks work, and where the work usually breaks
-
Gather requirements from clinicians, partner practices and internal teams, and turn them into clear specs for product, engineering and integrations
-
Own the integrations your specialty needs: choose the EHR, practice management and clearinghouse systems to connect, manage those vendors, and work with engineering through testing and go-live
-
Write and maintain the SOPs and playbooks your team runs on
-
Hire and lead your specialty team, including RCM, authorization and benefits verification, and care operations specialists working across time zones, and own onboarding and general team training.
-
Build the dashboards and KPIs for your specialty, such as clean claim rate, denial rate, days in A/R, authorization turnaround and patient response times, and run the operation from them
