Event Marketing Manager

A Foundational Company

Rilla is on a mission to index the offline world.

Today, we’ve built the leading sales coaching software for organizations doing sales offline. We have over 1000 customers, including The Home Depot, KKR, Neighborly, and PulteGroup, using our product to enable AI sales coaching across their organization.

We are backed by Google Ventures, Bessemer Ventures, Crew Capital, and Broom Ventures, along with others.

We’re an in office team in NYC with builders who operate like high speed reinforcement learners. We obsess over our customers, move at a high velocity, are not afraid of failure, and look to maximize our real-world impact.

We have one of the strongest brands our customers have ever seen.

Brand Examples & Customer Love

This didn’t happen by accident.

We think most B2B softwares and products suck. And we think the way they market themselves sucks even more.

Our heroes are the consumer companies that capture attention and deliver some of the most widely used products in the world.

Just because contracts are signed and people have to use software for work, doesn’t mean we can’t put the same level of attention, care, and creativity that Apple or Nike does in their work.

As a result…

We are one of the fastest-growing startups in the world right now and in history.

We’re backed by Byron Deeter (one of the best investors of all time) from Bessemer Venture Partners, the top Cloud investor in the world.

And we’re a Cloud 100 Rising Star company.

Who You Are

• 🧠 An infinite learner. Someone who is always curious. You quickly learn new technologies and execute independently. You are a generalist who will deep dive into a challenge.

• 🔍 A customer obsessive. Someone who deeply cares about delighting customers and solving their pains, not about vanity metrics.

• 🏆 A superstar. You dedicate your life to mastering your craft and leaving your mark on the world, and want to be around a team that is similarly obsessed with greatness. We work 6 days a week, 12 hour days, because to us, building and defining the future is the most fulfilling thing in the world.

• 🏅 A quality obsessive. Someone who deeply cares about our users and the quality of their work. Our customers are not tech companies. They’re people who live and work in the real world. To solve problems for them you need to have extreme empathy. You have to understand how they work, what they need, and want, and how to make their lives better.

• 🤝 A team player. You love giving and receiving feedback, and learning and growing as a team.

• 📈 Unafraid of failure. You take risks. You see failure as an opportunity to learn, grow, and be better the next time. In a weird way, you trick your brain into being excited when you fail, because it means you got a new opportunity to learn more.

What You’ll Get

You’ll be part of one of the fastest-growing startups in the world.

In a space that is completely untapped and where we have no competition.

As Rilla’s Event Marketing Manager, you’ll work side-by-side with our Head of Events to bring our most important gatherings to life—from our flagship conferences to regional activations and offsites. You’ll take on critical ownership of logistics, execution, and partner coordination so every Rilla event feels seamless, elite, and unforgettable.

Your work will directly drive revenue, deepen relationships with our most important customers, and strengthen the Rilla brand.

And you’ll scale yourself as the company scales with you.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with our Head of Events to execute large-scale, high-impact Rilla-hosted events, including flagship conferences, regionals, and internal offsites.

• Take ownership of key event logistics—from venue coordination and vendor management to production timelines and run-of-show.

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure events are built for revenue impact and aligned with GTM goals.

• Manage event promotion and attendee communications in partnership with the marketing team.

• Coordinate with sponsors, partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver on commitments and maximize event ROI.

• Track event performance and help refine playbooks for future activations.

You might thrive in this role if you have:

• 3+ years of experience in event marketing, event production, or marketing ops—ideally in a B2B or high-growth environment.

• Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset—you know how to keep complex projects moving without dropping a single ball.

• A collaborative approach and the ability to work closely with multiple teams while keeping timelines and budgets on track.

• Comfort handling both the strategic and the tactical—whether it’s thinking through attendee experience or making sure the stage lighting is perfect.

• Excellent communication skills, both with internal teams and external partners/vendors.

• A bias toward action, with the ability to execute quickly and adapt on the fly when plans change.
