Job Description
Summary
Multi-craft position performing work involving the skills of two or more industrial maintenance areas. Follows detailed job specific instructions to ensures processes and procedures are followed in an efficient and productive manner. Works under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or methods.
Alternate Path Option: Multi-craft position but may have an emphasis in either electrical or mechanical.

Electrical Path must possess intermediate to advanced electrical and PLC troubleshooting knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Mechanical Path requires in-depth hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Both Paths: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1st Responsibility - Ensuring personal safety and the safety of your team members.

Assists supervisors and managers in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Wear appropriate PPE which may include fall protection, respiratory protection, hearing protection, foot, hand, head and eye protection.

Uses proper lifting and ergo techniques.

Proactively promotes The McWane Way Principles.

Inspects, operates, or tests machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction.

Plans and lays out repair work using diagrams, drawings, maintenance manuals, schematics, or other specification to determine repair or installation procedures.

Requests equipment and supplies for maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of items required to complete the necessary installation and/or repair.
