Role Overview Part of Packt's mission is achieved through the sale of ExpertEdge, our B2B subscription platform, to businesses. This is a successful and growing part of the Packt business. We are looking for a Sales Executive to research, identify, and sell ExpertEdge subscriptions to enterprise businesses, build relationships with L&D and business leaders, and cultivate relationships with existing customers.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will research the B2B enterprise market, generate new potential leads, and meet with businesses to sell access to ExpertEdge's library of technical and soft-skills content. You will meet regularly with both potential and existing accounts, understanding and recording their key L&D challenges and requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong B2B sales experience and strong relational, written, and verbal communication skills.
We are looking for someone who is conscientious, proactive, and passionate, capable of taking the initiative, building lasting relationships, as well as rapidly converting centrally driven enquiries. International engagement will be conducted primarily via video and team calls, with domestic travel required for India-based accounts.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain relationships with large businesses to grow ExpertEdge's presence in the B2B enterprise market.

• Take complete ownership of the geography and enterprise accounts allocated.

• Oversee the process of acquiring new B2B clients, while collaborating with the product team to represent ExpertEdge's evolving course catalogue accurately.

• Manage end-to-end renewal processes for existing enterprise subscribers, ensuring long-term collaboration and growth.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organisations, including L&D managers, HR leaders, and other decision-makers.

• Conduct client meetings via video/team calls for international accounts, with on-site visits for India-based enterprise clients as needed; regularly follow up on leads across both.

• Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and position ExpertEdge's technical and business-skills content against evolving workforce training needs.

• Maintain strong networking and working relations with businesses and functional SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to ensure timely engagement, transparency, and aligned decision-making.

• Stay informed about learning technology standards, LMS integration requirements, and the latest trends in corporate L&D.

• Ready to travel domestically within India as required for in-person client meetings; no international travel is required, with global accounts managed remotely via video/team calls.

Who You Are The work we do is fast-paced, demanding, and intellectually challenging. We are looking for dynamic candidates with an interest in technology, corporate learning, and helping businesses upskill their teams. You will need strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent organization and time-management skills. You will need to be proactive in troubleshooting and problem-solving, upbeat, enthusiastic, and motivated. You will be a demonstrated self-starter who is focused and calm under pressure.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B business sales.

• Outstanding marketing, channel, relationship, and communication management skills.

• Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivation, and a clear vision for leading and contributing to organizational growth.

• Understanding of technology, technical learning solutions, and LMS ecosystems.

• Results-oriented with the ability to work with senior business leaders and L&D decision-makers.

• Excellent team player with strong relationship-building abilities.
