About Blinq

Blinq is the AI contacts app for people who meet people.

We're on a mission to unlock the world's relationship potential. So much of what's possible in the world is locked inside relationships that never quite happen. A missed conversation, a forgotten follow-up, the right person at the wrong time. We're building so those chances aren't left to chance.

What started as the world's #1 digital business card is now used by 4 million professionals and at 93% of the Fortune 500. We've raised $45m+ from Blackbird, Square Peg, HubSpot Ventures, and Touring Capital.

Why join Blinq

• You want to be part of an AI-native company at an inflection point. Big enough to have real momentum, customers, and resources. Small enough that the work you do shapes where it goes from here.
• You want to do the best work of your life alongside people doing the same. We hold an unusually high bar for talent and we hire people who treat that as a feature, not a threat.
• You want to build something globally ambitious from a part of the world that doesn't always think this big. Our team is in Sydney, Melbourne, San Francisco, and New York, and we're betting that the next category-defining company in our space comes from Australia.
• You want to work in person, on purpose. Three days a week in the office, two wherever works for you. Creative energy and momentum compound face to face.

How we work

We've all joined Blinq to find out how good we really are. That shows up in how we work:

• We are professional optimists. We think what's possible first and let constraints come second.
• We hold an insanely high talent bar. A players only.
• We are obsessed with craft. The details are the thing, not the polish on top of it.
• We are truth obsessed. We say what's true even when it's uncomfortable, and we have the courage to pursue contrarian but correct bets.
• We do more with less. Calculated frugality and beautiful simplicity guide how we build.
• We are all here to genuinely do our life's best work.

People & Talent at Blinq

Our People & Talent team is the heartbeat of Blinq, ensuring we’re always bringing on and growing the people who keep our mission alive. We champion a culture where everyone feels seen, supported, and motivated to do the best work of their lives. If you’re passionate about crafting a workplace that’s fast-moving, deeply human, and built for scale, you’ll feel right at home.

About the role

This is an opportunity to build your career in recruitment at a growing technology company. You’ll work closely with our People & Talent Lead to find talented people, keep hiring processes moving and give candidates a great experience from their first conversation with Blinq.

You’ll get exposure to hiring across engineering, product, design and commercial teams. To start, you’ll focus on sourcing, coordination and candidate communication. As your confidence and skills grow, you’ll take on screening conversations and more ownership of roles, with coaching along the way.

Whether you’re a graduate or have one to two years of experience, we’re interested in your curiosity, initiative and ability to follow through.

What you’ll do

• Find great people. Research companies, map talent markets and source potential candidates through LinkedIn, our recruitment platform and other channels.

• Start conversations. Write thoughtful outreach that gives people a clear reason to learn more about Blinq.

• Keep hiring moving. Coordinate interviews, manage scheduling and follow up with candidates and hiring managers so nothing gets missed.

• Create a great candidate experience. Keep people informed, prepared and supported throughout the process, including when the outcome isn’t what they hoped for.

• Learn to assess talent. Help clarify what each role needs, review applications and develop your interviewing skills through shadowing and supported screening conversations.

• Keep our recruitment data useful. Maintain accurate candidate records, track progress and help us understand what’s working and where we’re getting stuck.

• Improve how we work. Explore ways to use AI and automation to reduce admin and improve research and communication, while applying sound judgment.

• Help tell the Blinq story. Support job adverts, employer branding and initiatives that help the right people discover us.

What you’ll bring

• You’re a graduate or have around one to two years of experience in recruitment, coordination, customer service, sales or a related field. Previous recruitment experience isn’t essential.

• You’re organised and reliable. You can manage competing priorities, keep track of details and close the loop.

• You communicate clearly and warmly, whether you’re writing an outreach message or speaking with a candidate.

• You’re curious about people, technology and what makes someone successful in a role.

• You take initiative. When something needs doing, you’re comfortable having a go and asking for help when you need it.

• You’re open to feedback and willing to put it into practice.

• You’re comfortable learning new tools and interested in how AI can help you work more effectively.

• You handle personal information with care and understand the importance of discretion.

What success looks like

• Candidates feel informed and respected throughout their experience with Blinq.

• Interviews run smoothly, records stay accurate and follow-ups happen on time.

• Your sourcing helps us connect with people who are relevant to our roles.

• Hiring managers can rely on you to keep things moving and flag issues early.

• You build the skills and judgment to take on increasing ownership of recruitment.

Why join Blinq?

You’ll work closely with an experienced People & Talent Lead, learn directly from hiring managers and see how a Australian start up builds its team.

This is a hands-on role with room to grow. You’ll contribute from day one, receive regular feedback and develop skills across sourcing, interviewing, candidate experience and recruitment operations.

You don’t need to arrive knowing everything. We’re looking for someone who’s keen to learn, takes pride in their work and wants to help build a great team.

What you get

• Equity and ownership. We're building something massive and we want you to share in the upside. Genuinely.
• Competitive salary and a real growth path. As Blinq grows, your role and compensation grow with it.
• Time to switch off. 20 days of annual leave plus a flexible policy for everything life throws at you beyond that.
• Good times, often. Team lunches, padel, games nights, Barry's sessions. We like hanging out and it shows.
• Regular catered lunch at some of our offices, plus an always-stocked snack bar.
