Funding Sales Specialist

Great closers, we'd love to hear from you.

Fundwell is building a strong new sales floor in the Cape Town CBD, and we're looking for talented salespeople who genuinely enjoy closing. If you're confident on the phone, motivated by what you can earn, and want to sell for a fast-growing US company, this could be a great fit.

We're a US fintech funding small businesses across America, and our Cape Town team is scaling fast. Qualified leads come to you — your job is to turn them into funded deals. No cold-dialling from scratch. Just you, the phone, and a US business owner who needs what you're offering.

Why you'll want this seat

• Uncapped commission that grows as you close. Hit a higher tier and it applies retroactively to every deal that month — so a strong month lifts your whole month's earnings, not just the deals above the line.
• A launch bonus on top while you find your rhythm in the opening months.
• Warm, qualified leads — you focus on closing, not prospecting.
• A floor built to win — modern CBD offices, real energy, and a team that pushes each other in the best way.
• Get in early, grow with it. This floor is new, and the people we hire now are the ones who'll step into senior and team-lead roles as we scale.
• Transport home after every shift, comprehensive medical, and proper onboarding. We back our people.

Requirements

What the role involves

You own the closing half of the sale — consultation, negotiation, close, and funding. You'll build trust with US business owners, structure the right funding solution, handle objections with poise, and get the deal over the line. Success here comes down to one clear number: funded deals. Hit your targets, and your earning potential is entirely in your hands.

You'll fit in well if

• You've got a solid closing track record and can point to your numbers
• You're a natural on the phone — people warm to you quickly
• You're driven, competitive, and motivated to grow your income
• You stay calm and sharp under pressure
• You're comfortable in a CRM (Salesforce or similar), or quick to pick one up

What you'll need

• Matric (essential); a tertiary qualification is a bonus
• 2+ years' B2B closing experience — carrying a target and owning deals to the finish, not just booking meetings
• Fluent, neutral-accent English
• Able to work on-site in the Cape Town CBD on US hours (14:00–23:00 / 15:00–00:00)
• Clear criminal and credit record (financial services requirement)

Nice to have

• Experience selling into the US market
• A fintech, lending, merchant services, or financial services background
• Time in a commission-led closing environment

If you love to close, we'd love to meet you. Apply today — it only takes a few minutes.
