Job Overview
We are seeking senior researchers for our real-time information flows team. We believe there is an unexploited opportunity in crypto markets reacting to real-time market moving news.
- You have experience generating alpha from real-time events, either at an established proprietary trading firm or your own personal account.
- You have an intuitive sense where news is likely to originate and which sources/platforms will be the first to disseminate it.
- You enjoy being the first to read and react to breaking news and can accurately filter signal from noise.
- You are a crypto-native and preferably have also been exposed to TradFi.
- You have a sufficient technical background to prototype ideas prior to involving development resources.

Responsibilities
- Ideation
- Work with traders and researchers to identify potential news-driven trading opportunities.
- Maintain core themes updated by communicating material information.
- Maintain a detailed calendar of material events.
- Sourcing, monitoring
- Identify key sources of breaking news for all tracked themes.
- Work with developers to streamline the ingestion of key sources.
- Monitor content flows in real-time and alert traders, researchers to potential trading opportunities.
- Build and maintain high-quality alerts
- Build high precision, recall automated alerts for themes of interest. Prioritize, enable, disable, and update alerts as market conditions change.
