About the Role
As a Software Engineering Consultant at Netlight, you will join a collaborative, ambitious, and mutually supportive environment where you define your own journey. You’ll partner with industry-leading clients to solve real business challenges, tackle a variety of technical domains, and grow alongside a brand-new Toronto team. The role has a lot in common with a forward deployed engineer position: you’ll be embedded directly with client teams, building and shipping solutions on the ground to solve their most pressing problems.
A Day in the life at Netlight
- Design and build robust, scalable software systems in close collaboration with engineers, product managers, and designers.
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of software development, from system design and implementation to testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Develop high-quality, scalable solutions for complex challenges across distributed systems, APIs, data, and user-facing applications.
- Use and build with AI day-to-day - from AI-assisted coding to designing and shipping AI-powered features - to move faster and deliver more value to clients.
