We are headquartered in Silicon Valley and are funded and supported by some of the most preeminent venture capital teams.We are seeking a Senior SDET with strong expertise in Salesforce quality engineering to drive automation, data validation, and end-to-end testing across complex workflows and integrations. This role requires deep experience in test automation, CI/CD integration, and Agile development, and will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, scalable applications.
Ellipsis Health is located in the San Francisco Bay Area, but we are open to remote candidates within the United States.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing using Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools

Develop and execute automated test scripts for Salesforce applications, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)

Validate end-to-end business workflows, including Apex-driven logic, integrations, and data flows
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster release cycles -
Validate Salesforce API integrations (REST/SOAP) and ensure data integrity across systems

Identify, document, and track defects using Jira (or similar tools), and partner with engineering to ensure timely resolution

Create and maintain test plans, test data strategies, and reusable QA assets to improve coverage and efficiency

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to quality-focused discussions

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to triage issues, prioritize defects, and assess release risks
Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in SDET / QA Automation roles with strong exposure to Salesforce-based applications

Strong expertise in test automation using Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, or similar frameworks (Java or Python preferred)

Experience testing Salesforce customizations, including Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Flows, and security models
