Full Stack Software Engineer

The Role   We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to collaborate with Researchers and ML Engineers to produce AI applications and solutions based on next gen AI research. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams and product managers to implement innovative software solutions based on requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to develop entire architecture, responsive design, user interaction, and user experience.
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Able to develop entire architecture, responsive design, user interaction, and user experience.
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Create security and data protection settings
• Write technical documentation
• Work with researchers, data scientists and analysts to improve software
• Keep track of new development-related tools, frameworks, methods, and architectures. 
• Contribute to research publications and represent MBZUAI at industry conferences and events, showcasing the institution’s cutting-edge HPC and deep learning capabilities and establishing MBZUAI as a global leader in AI research and innovation.
• Contribute to the development of intellectual property and thought leadership in the field of high-performance computing for deep learning
• Perform all other duties as reasonably directed by the line manager that are commensurate with these functional objectives.
