Software Engineer

ANYbotics is a fast-growing tech company dedicated to shaping the future of mobile robotics across multiple industries. Join our highly talented and motivated team of more than 190 people and work on cutting-edge robot technology. We are open to internships all year round and post regularly.   We’re always looking for passionate, curious, and motivated interns to join our mission.   This is your chance to collaborate with world-class experts, gain real-world experience, and make meaningful contributions in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.

The Opportunity

You will join the Industrialization team, the group that turns ANYmal from something engineers can build into something a factory can build, test, and release at volume. Every robot that leaves our production line passes through the test systems this team owns. When those tests are effective, quality issues are caught in Zurich before reaching a customer's industrial site. That is the leverage of this role.Sitting directly at the intersection of software and hardware, you will write Python code to interface with physical devices, help define reliable pass/fail criteria for ANYmal subsystems, and deploy test routines to our manufacturing shopfloor. Working alongside Manufacturing Engineers, test technicians, and hardware design teams, you will gain hands-on experience bridging cutting-edge robotics design with scalable industrial production.

The Market & Our Technology

ANYbotics is a fast-growing tech company dedicated to shaping the future of mobile robotics across multiple industries. Founded as an ETH Zurich spin-off, we build autonomous mobile robots (ANYmal) that solve complex inspection tasks in challenging industrial environments such as energy, chemical, and mining facilities. Join our highly talented and motivated team of more than 200 people in Zurich and work on cutting-edge robot technology that is transforming industrial operations globally.
