CAD Technician

The Draftsman/Technician will support WSP Switzerland’s WW2E branch in delivering urban wet utility projects. The role focuses on drafting and technical support for water supply, drainage networks, and district heating/urban heating networks, ensuring accurate and high-quality outputs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings and layouts for water supply and drainage network projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet project specifications and requirements.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency in drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
• Support project documentation, including timely updates and revisions as required throughout the project lifecycle.

• Water supply network projects.
• Drainage network projects.
• District heating / urban heating network projects.

Expected Outputs / KPIs

• Deliver accurate and detailed drawings with minimal errors.
• Ensure timely updates and revisions to project documentation.
• Maintain consistency and clarity in technical outputs.

Qualifications

•    Experience: Approximately 10 years in drafting/technician roles within Urban Wet Utilities / Water Projects
•    Education: Technical qualification BE/Diploma in civil engineering, or a related field.
•    Desirable Skills: Draft and support designs for district heating and urban heating network systems.
•    Strong drafting skills in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
•    Experience with hydraulic infrastructure projects.
•    Knowledge of COVADIS is an added advantage 

Language: English (professional proficiency).
Other: Ability to work collaboratively across regions and deliver high-quality outputs.
