Job Description
Are you a seasoned and energetic, team player with great organization and communication skills and do you possess a high attention to detail? Do you have experience with property tracking and management? If so, you may be a great fit to come work with our team!
Our employees work on the world’s most advanced electronics – from detecting threats for F-35 pilots to illuminating the night for soldiers. Spanning air, land, sea, and space, we are developing the technology of tomorrow, delivered today. Drawing strength from our differences, we’re innovating for the future. And you can, too.
The Program Product Support Specialist is a key member of the support team. In this role, you will be providing enhanced tracking of government property for a family of established programs. The selected candidate will have proven experience and a solid understanding of government property, contract types as it pertains to property ownership, dispositioning processes and the ability to provide accurate accounting of equipment pedigree and status for program/government assets in production, in advance of customer delivery, while in the field, and when returned for repair, maintenance, or upgrade as items are moved between locations or facilities. Accounting includes manual inventory, electronic tracking and management to maintain and provide asset visibility and reporting on the movement of items from source to destination to each member of the program/customer team. The candidate will be supporting internal and external audits as well as interacting with the Government Property team to ensure assets are tagged and dispositioned appropriately.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time
