The role will report to a Senior Manager, with a dotted-line relationship to one of Foggo’s Statutory Directors, and will act as a key point of contact with regulatory authorities, including SPA/MF and COAF.
What You’ll Do
- Compliance & Integrity Program: Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Brazil Integrity Program, including policies, procedures, controls, workflows, and compliance indicators.
- AML/CFT: Oversee the effectiveness of the KYC/EDD framework, transaction monitoring, PEP and sanctions screening, risk assessments, investigations, and suspicious activity reporting to COAF, in line with Brazilian regulations and FATF/GAFI principles.
- Responsible Gaming: Monitor and continuously improve Responsible Gaming initiatives, including self-exclusion, self-limitation, behavioral monitoring, and protocols for protecting at-risk players, with a focus on customer support and response times.
- Sports Integrity: Oversee processes for identifying potential match-fixing and suspicious betting activity, working with relevant providers such as Sportradar and Betby and coordinating responses to incidents.
- Regulatory Compliance: Represent Foggo in interactions with SPA/MF and other relevant regulatory bodies, ensuring clear, timely, and effective communication.
- Audits & Assessments: Lead and support regulatory checks, internal reviews, audits, and compliance assessments, ensuring appropriate documentation and evidence are maintained.
- Training & Awareness: Develop, update, and deliver compliance and integrity training programs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Legal, P&P, Product, Payments, Fraud, Operations, and other teams to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are effectively embedded across the business.
- Risk Management: Identify compliance and integrity risks, recommend mitigation measures, and monitor the effectiveness of implemented controls.
- Reporting & Metrics: Develop and monitor compliance KPIs and management reports, providing clear insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Automation & Controls: Support and/or oversee the automation of compliance controls and reporting using BI, SQL, or other technology solutions.
