The Opportunity: Your Next Big Leap
You’re not looking to churn through tickets — you want to build systems that matter, at a meaningful scale, alongside a team that values strong engineering.
At Qover, you’ll help power embedded insurance experiences used by leading brands like Revolut, Mastercard, BMW, and Monzo. Our platform operates across 32 countries and supports millions of end users through our partners.
We’re entering our next phase of growth and investing in the reliability, scalability, and developer experience of our platform. We’re looking for engineers who care about clean architecture, pragmatic decision-making, and building software that lasts.
Your Impact: What You’ll Do
As a Site Reliability & Platform Engineer at Qover, you’ll play a key role in keeping our platform reliable, scalable, secure, and performant. You’ll combine software engineering and infrastructure expertise to improve how we build, deploy, and operate our services, with a strong focus on automation, observability, and developer experience. Here is a taste of what you will be working on:
- Use AI thoughtfully — in engineering and operations: We encourage responsible use of AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, automation, troubleshooting, and documentation. You'll also have space to explore how emerging AI capabilities could meaningfully improve our infrastructure, operational processes, and developer experience.
- Build and evolve scalable infrastructure: Design, automate, and maintain the cloud infrastructure supporting millions of users across 32 countries. You'll help ensure our platform can grow reliably while balancing performance, security, and cost.
- Define and evolve SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets. Build effective monitoring, alerting, and observability practices using metrics, logs, and distributed tracing, helping engineering teams understand and improve the reliability of their services.
