Talent Acquisition Specialist

We’re Qover, a leading insurtech scale-up that has raised $70 million.

With an international team of 160+ colleagues based in Brussels, we help companies orchestrate digital embedded insurance experiences.

Since Qover was founded in 2016, our co-founders had a clear vision of the future of insurance: it must be simple, transparent and accessible across borders – a global safety net 🌍

We’re well on our way to building that safety net, with a platform that protects millions of users across 32 European countries. We work with top brands like Revolut, Mastercard, BMW, Canyon, Monzo and many others.

The role

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll join a small HR team made up of the HR Manager, an Office & HR Assistant, a Talent Acquisition Specialist and yourself. You'll report directly to the HR Manager and be based in our Brussels office, recruiting for both our Brussels and London teams.   Your job: own recruitment from start to finish, from the initial intake with hiring managers through to sourcing, interviews, salary negotiation and the contract itself. You'll manage several recruitments at once, across very different profiles: tech, insurance, corporate and more. It's a role that calls for versatility and a knack for juggling multiple priorities.

What you'll do

• Run the intake with hiring managers to fully understand their needs and the profile they're after
• Write and publish clear, engaging job ads
• Actively source candidates across different channels (LinkedIn, job boards, your network, etc.)
• Lead screening interviews and coordinate the process with hiring managers
• Make sure candidates get a smooth, human experience, from first contact to offer
• Handle salary negotiations and the contractual side of things
• Manage multiple recruitments in parallel, across a range of profiles: tech, insurance, corporate and more
• Recruit for both our Brussels and London offices
• Help us keep improving our recruitment process with automation, reporting, AI and new ways of working

What you'll bring

• Some prior experience in recruitment, ideally in a fast-paced or international environment.
• Comfortable managing several recruitments at once, across very different profiles
• Fluent in English, our working language
• Organised, autonomous and good at setting priorities
• A strong relationship builder who knows how to create a positive candidate experience
• Comfortable owning the whole process, including salary negotiation and the contractual part

What’s in it for you:

• The opportunity to help make insurance simpler and more accessible by building the technology that lets companies embed insurance into the products and services people already use
• Flexibility: work remotely up to three days a week, with the option to work from anywhere for up to one month per year.
• Time to recharge: 28 days of paid leave, including 8 additional days on top of the statutory 20 days.
• Real ownership and impact: take ownership of your recruitments from start to finish and play a key role in building the teams that drive our growth.
• International exposure: recruit for both our Brussels and London teams and work with a diverse range of profiles in an international, English-speaking environment.
• Shape the way we recruit: bring your ideas to improve our recruitment processes, candidate experience and use of AI, automation and new ways of working.
• Learn and grow: develop your expertise across different markets and profiles, while gaining exposure to hiring managers and stakeholders across the business.
• A collaborative and inclusive culture: work alongside entrepreneurial people in an environment where initiative, teamwork and having fun are equally valued, with regular team and social events.
• A great place to work: enjoy our dedicated Qover space at WeWork in central Brussels, including a large terrace for team lunches, drinks and events.
