These positions will be located at our Merrimack, New Hampshire location. If your background and skillset align with our hiring needs, we will be in touch with next steps. If selected for an interview, we will discuss specific opportunities that match your interests and skillset with the hiring team. For candidates who are not local to the Merrimack, NH area, virtual interviews will be accommodated.
If you are a technologist who loves to design, write, integrate, and test cutting edge software based around challenging algorithms, platforms, and environments, this is the career opportunity for you. The FAST Labs business area is the innovative research and development engine within the Electronic Systems Sector of BAE Systems. We are a fast-paced environment, creating prototype, proof of concept, and low volume product with minimal process and documentation requirements. FAST Labs is an environment where smart people are allowed to run fast.
Sitting at the heart of BAE Systems Electronic Systems (ES), FAST Labs defines the next generation of technology across ES’s defense and commercial portfolios. We seek to turn groundbreaking research into real-life impact for our customers, as we develop advanced capabilities in advanced electronics, sensors and processing, AI, autonomy, RF, EO/IR, cyber, microelectronics, and more. We value internal and external partnerships and collaborate across a broad innovation ecosystem that includes DoD/IC/OGA labs and research teams, universities, small businesses and venture firms/accelerators – all in service of developing advanced technologies to enable our nation’s warfighting mission needs.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and secure access to sensitive information, this role will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
