Account Executive

See what you can do with Prophix

Prophix helps finance teams work with greater flexibility and confidence through Prophix One™, our Financial Performance Platform. We bring planning, reporting, and automation together so people can focus on higher-value work instead of repetitive tasks. As we introduce more AI-enabled capabilities, you will be part of a human-centered innovation journey where intelligent tools support better outcomes while people lead the decisions that matter.

We're headquartered in the Greater Toronto Area, with teams and offices across North America, Europe, and Australia.

As a Senior Account Executive, you own a defined Core Mid-Market territory for Prophix One™ end to end: generating and qualifying your own pipeline, running the full sales cycle from first conversation to close, and growing revenue within the accounts you land. You'll multi-thread deals across technical and business stakeholders, qualify opportunities using a structured framework like MEDDICC, and lean on a dedicated inside sales resource plus our pre-sales and services teams to keep every deal moving. This is a hunting role for someone who wants to build and run their own book of business, not manage a static account list.

What You Will Do

Own Your Territory and Pipeline

· Own and manage a defined Core Mid-Market territory, maximizing revenue growth and market share across a mix of new-logo and existing accounts

· Generate and qualify opportunities through inside sales support, cold outreach, business contacts, and vendor selection competitions, building a pipeline that can consistently hit quota

· Run full-cycle deals from first conversation through close, using a structured qualification framework such as MEDDICC to prioritize the opportunities most likely to convert

Sell and Win at Multiple Levels

· Multi-thread deals across technical and operational stakeholders, tailoring your pitch to what each buyer actually cares about

· Articulate Prophix's product capabilities and competitive differentiation with enough depth to win against alternative CPM, BI, and ERP vendors

Grow Existing Accounts

· Cross-sell and expand Prophix's footprint within your existing customer base, identifying new use cases and stakeholders as their needs evolve

· Build and maintain client relationships that extend beyond the initial sale, so renewals and expansion feel like a natural next step

Partner to Win

· Work closely with pre-sales, the services organization, and your dedicated inside sales resource throughout the sales cycle, so every deal has the right support at the right time

· Stay current on Prophix's product and the competitive landscape, so you can speak credibly to what's changing in the market

· As a senior member of the team, you can expect to partner closely with other sales team members across the organization and be a mentor. We believe this will help grow your career within Prophix.

· Strong presentation, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
