📃 About your Lead

Hi 👋, I’m Anthony, Product Management Lead at NPX – your future lead!

I have spent over 15 years building and improving customer experiences, first across Europe and now in Canada. Before discovering my passion for software product management, I launched a service brand and implemented a Net Promoter Score (NPS) framework across four countries.

After two years as an individual contributor, I moved into people management, where I now mentor Product Managers/Consultants who care deeply about their craft and are committed to raising the bar for how we practice product management as a team.

I can't wait to help you succeed in this role and wherever your aspirations take you. I also believe some of our best work happens when we are in the same room, so let me know if you want to grab a co-working space and a whiteboard.

🌍 About Us

NPX partners with nuclear utilities and new reactor projects to unlock performance through innovation. We combine decades of nuclear operation expertise with AI, digital tools, and lean processes, to help plants run safer, smarter, and more cost-effectively. Our Digital Transformation & AI team scales this expertise through both NPX-developed and industry-leading products, delivering solutions to clients across Canada, the U.S., and globally.

🧠 The Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Consultant to be at the front end of brainstorming and ideating with our customers. You will be the person who turns client problems into workable solutions. You’ll engage directly with clients to understand their operational challenges, rapidly concept and build working prototypes, and develop opportunities from an initial lead into a validated solution ready to move toward MVP production. Equally important, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to our clients -bringing AI expertise into every conversation, helping teams see what’s possible, and guiding them to get more value from the tools they already have access to (e.g., Microsoft Copilot). The goal is not to build new products for every problem, but to recommend the right approach, whether that means improving how an existing tool is used, delivering a focused AI-enabled service, or validating a new product opportunity. This role is consulting-first: you’ll spend your time with clients, shaping problems and proving out solutions, while our product and delivery teams take validated concepts through to production. This role will be a mix of pre-sales, consulting, and product management. You will need to be able to operate at all levels from strategy to execution to be successful in this role.

Salary Range: $130-170k (Exact compensation may vary)

Travel Expectations: Travel to client site once a week with fluctuation based on client needs.

🎯 What You'll Drive

• Lead early client engagements to uncover operational pain points, frame the problems worth solving, and spot common challenges across nuclear utilities that can become scalable solutions.

• Determine the strategy of how NPX’s services and products that address those customers pain-points and turn that into pitches & proposals that are compelling to our customer.

• Rapidly concept and build workable prototypes that turn client problems into tangible solutions clients can see, test, and react to.

• Develop opportunities from lead to validated solution - testing prototypes with users, iterating on feedback, and proving value to set up the path toward MVP production.

• Help clients understand where technology can create value and identify opportunities to improve how they work through practical, business-focused applications.

• Advise clients on AI strategy and adoption - helping them maximize the value of the tools they already have access to and create more efficient ways of working.

• Influence not only what gets built, but the direction of client operations and the future of the nuclear industry.

✨ What You Bring

• Consulting Mindset: You can wear many hats to solve problems across the industry. You enjoy tackling many items at once.

• Results & Impact: You've taken a product from 0 to 1, and you know the difference between building something that works and building something that scales.

• Leadership & Influence: You can influence clients and shape the direction of their operations — not just deliver what's asked.

• Adaptability & Growth: You're comfortable experimenting, testing, and re-iterating rather than working from a fixed spec.

• Initiative & Innovation: You know the AI landscape — the tools, the concepts, how agents work — and you bring this expertise to every conversation you have.

• Cultural Amplification: You've worked in a products/services environment and understand how to operate with a consulting mindset inside a regulated industry.
